"I was looking for a no frills hotel close to the airport for a night's stay, although this place was about 8 km from the airport but travel time at late night was just 15 mins. The suite room we had booked was clean and spacious enough to accommodate an extra-bed as well. The breakfast was delicious, primarily consisting of south indian dishes with some north indian options also. Staff at reception and house keeping were very courteous and helpful."

"Place is located right next to railway station and after chengalpattu bus stand. Basically right in the middle of a bustling area. The family suite room is spacious enough for 4 people. The restaurant in the hotel is a bit expensive which i felt was downside"

Very Good
NNickThank you very much for the warm and hospitable staff of ibis sipcot, I had a great week in Chennai. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The staff at the hotel are amazing!
There is a big shopping mall near the hotel and there is a big supermarket in it. Walk for 10-15 minutes. The road in India is a bit difficult to walk. Actually there is a juice bar next to it, and you can buy evaluated drinks and water

1. I arrived at 11:30 AM and asked if an early check-in was possible so I could freshen up before heading to the office. They gave me a lower-grade room without informing me. Thankfully, I noticed and declined it.
2. When I returned at 2 PM for the standard check-in, they tried to assign me the same lower-grade room again.
3. The so-called ”garden view” turned out to be a construction site — very misleading and disappointing.
4. Breakfast was average, but the service left much to be desired. Coffee wasn't available until after 7AM, and despite requesting sunny side-up eggs on two separate mornings, they were never prepared.
5. Dinner service was chaotic. There were limited options, it was extremely crowded, and there was no staff managing seating or checking room entitlements. It felt like anyone could walk in, grab food, and sit anywhere. I couldn’t even find a table to sit!

GGuest UserLocation is great. Staff are very courteous. Room was clean. But hotel toiletries were very limited. There was only one dental kit for a 2 person stay. And there was only one soap and a very average teeny tiny shampoo. There is room for improvement in that one area. Pretty good otherwise.

GGuest UserWhen we arrived, we were given a room that was around 70 sq. Ft smaller than what we had booked, reason given was no availability of rooms, but that defeats the whole purpose of advanced booking. Had to spend one out of three nights in that room, and no refund was provided. Dissatisfied.

GGuest UserCoconut oil tooth paste bbrush is not delivered. However room is old-fashioned but neat. Cleanliness maintained. Mosquitoes controlled. Water bottles given shampoo and soap given. Friendly manager. Rent is more. Facilities to be upgraded to suit the rent. Good management except mentioned above.
