I brought my family to Chengdu for a short trip this time. The location is very convenient, just one subway stop away from Sichuan University. The Raffles City next to the hotel has a wide array of shopping and dining options. One of the most important things on this trip was cycling along the Chengdu Greenway, which is about 10km away – perfect for a warm-up. A pleasant surprise was that the hotel allows bikes in the room, which was incredibly convenient. Plus, the room had a washing machine and dryer, complete with detergent, so I could wash my cycling gear right after a ride. The bathtub in the room was also great for soothing post-cycling fatigue. All in all, it's a perfect hotel for cyclists.

Environment: There's Joy City nearby, it's right next to Qinhuang Lake, and Xinglong Lake Wetland Park isn't too far either. Unfortunately, I only stayed for two days and didn't have time to visit them all. If you have enough time, you could definitely explore them – the 'Park City' lives up to its name. Getting to the city's scenic spots for sightseeing isn't very convenient as it's a bit far, but it's acceptable.
Service: What impressed me most was the excellent restaurant service. The waitresses were very enthusiastic, proactively providing baby chairs, infant cutlery, and even thoughtful disposable bibs for our little one. Seeing our child, the manager even specially made small flower cakes and steamed egg custard. Breakfast was also very rich, with a full range of salads, bread, fruits, and both Chinese and Western options. The best part was the chicken soup with shredded chicken noodles the auntie cooked on the second day – it was soul-warming and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend it.
