What a fantastic stay! The hotel is super close to Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Huanhuaxi Park, Sichuan Museum, and Qingyang Palace, making its location absolutely prime for sightseeing and finding great food. The overall environment is quiet and elegant, with charming French-style decor. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in/check-out was very efficient, leading to an excellent overall experience 🐮. The hotel also offers various handicraft and cultural activities. I bought a bunch of Shu brocade accessories and panda keychains; they were reasonably priced with a wide variety of styles, perfect for gifts. I also signed up for the hotel's travel photoshoot, which was completed in just 40 minutes with great results. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I'd like to thank the front desk staff for their assistance, which made the entire trip very comfortable ❤️. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Chengdu!

Five-star review! I’m truly impressed with my stay at Xishu Hotel. From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff were warm, attentive, and efficient. Their professionalism made the whole process smooth and pleasant. The room was spotless, well-designed, and comfortably arranged. All the facilities were modern and well maintained, and the attention to detail was excellent. The bed was especially comfortable, and I slept very well. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing, and the public areas are kept in great condition as well. Whether it’s cleanliness, service, location, or overall convenience, everything exceeded my expectations. I genuinely couldn’t find any flaws during my stay. I will definitely choose Xishu Hotel again next time I’m in the area and will gladly recommend it to friends!

The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street and IFS, surrounded by a beautiful and pleasant environment. The hotel boasts high floors, with a restaurant and mahjong room on the 45th floor offering expansive views. The rooms are spotless, meticulously cleaned by the aunties, and returning to such a comfortable and cozy space after a day of sightseeing is truly delightful. Subway access is incredibly convenient, making it effortless to get around. This place not only provides easy transportation but also creates a warm and peaceful home-like atmosphere, offering a tranquil sanctuary amidst the bustling city.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful with a fantastic design. I love the color scheme and all the decorative details – it feels very stylish and modern. Lucky, the welcoming dog, is also adorable! The room is spacious with a great view, and the small appliances are high-end. There are also many thoughtful functional details. The breakfast restaurant is large with a rich variety of options, and the service is excellent. Downstairs, there's a mall and a subway station, which was perfect for traveling with kids; they absolutely loved it. For a hotel of this caliber, the price offers great value for money.

Honestly, I can't find any flaws. It's excellent. My only minor suggestion would be to change the candy at the entrance to mints. For this price point, it's spacious and clean. The design is very tasteful, and I didn't get to experience the cafe as I was in a bit of a rush. Oh, and the TV placement is a little awkward. The pool is a bit too small for swimming. Other than that, I'm very satisfied.

The hotel is not far from Huashuiwan Hot Spring Town, built by the roadside, making parking convenient with a dedicated underground parking garage. There are two accommodation buildings. The price is a bit high, but the environment is quite good, though there's not much to explore in the surrounding area. The room was spacious, although the walls were a bit dirty. The hot springs are great, with about 10 pools built along the river, plus a sauna room. There's also an outdoor swimming pool. Overall, the facilities are complete. Breakfast was very rich with a wide variety of options. The jam tasted homemade, which was a pleasant surprise – they even provided a butter knife, which many larger hotels don't! It would be a pretty good deal if the price were under 500.

Stayed at Bliss Qintai ******* Boutique Hotel and it was a unique and memorable stay in Chengdu. The design of the hotel really stands out, with Tibetan-inspired interiors that give it a very distinct character compared to standard hotels. It feels warm, artistic, and different in a good way. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with enough space to relax after a long day of exploring. The overall atmosphere of the property is calm and cozy. Location-wise, it’s convenient for getting around the city, with easy access to nearby attractions and local areas. The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. If you want a stay that feels a bit more special and culturally inspired rather than just functional, this is a great option. This hotel is excellent – clean, spacious rooms, and they provide four bottles of water daily. The location is superb, right next to Tianfu Square and the Chengdu Museum, which was perfect for rainy days. It's also close to People's Park and Chunxi Road. Despite the many tourists, the staff were incredibly dedicated and patient. The braised duck at breakfast was delicious, and the noodles with bamboo shoots and beef brisket topping were a treat. My stay at the Ritz-Carlton was a delightful surprise. When housekeeping tidied the room, they thoughtfully placed my teddy bear next to the pillow. This small, playful gesture really showed how much care they put into their service. The staff who delivered items and set up the extra bed were always very polite. I particularly appreciated how they covered the wheels of the extra bed with a towel – a small detail that not only hid the unsightly wheels but also made me feel the bed was cleaner. Staff members also bid farewell politely when leaving the room, and the room itself was always spotless and tidy. Furthermore, the concierge service was excellent, like Harvey today. All these little things, though seemingly minor, highlight the well-trained staff and create a warm, comfortable experience through their attention to detail. It truly reinforces the idea that ”a five-star hotel isn't just about top-notch facilities – even if they're not the newest as time goes by, proper maintenance makes them comfortable. More importantly, it's about the service, a detailed experience you feel at every moment of your stay.” I will definitely choose the Ritz-Carlton again on my next visit to Chengdu. Just a small suggestion: the air freshener scent on the ground floor lobby and the 25th floor was a bit too strong. It was quite pungent immediately after stepping out of the elevator.

We stayed at Qixi Guest House in Dayi, Sichuan with our two kids and chose the River View Loft Room — and it was such a lovely experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved it because they had their own space in the loft area. There were plush toys and books prepared for them, which made it even more special. The loft area also had a warmer, so it stayed cozy and comfortable. The owner is very kind, and the place is managed by two elderly ladies who are incredibly sweet — they reminded us of our own grandmothers. They were so warm, caring, and genuinely helpful. They even helped us book taxis because it can be quite difficult to get a Didi in this area. There are no halal restaurants nearby, so it’s best to bring ready-to-eat food from home. However, they knew we are Muslim and thoughtfully prepared halal-friendly breakfast for us — noodles, fried eggs, vegetables, buns, candy, nuts, and boxed milk. We truly appreciated their effort. Downstairs, there is a shared kitchen area that guests can use. It’s well-equipped with utensils, a microwave, hot water dispenser (similar to Coway), and basic kitchen facilities — very convenient for families. The only downside is that there is no lift. The building has three levels. We stayed on Level 2 (just one flight of stairs up from the ground floor), so it was manageable, but carrying heavy luggage could be challenging. When we checked out, the owner even gave us a small gift bag with a keychain and fridge magnet — such a sweet gesture. From the guesthouse, it takes only about 20 minutes by Didi to reach Xiling Snow Mountain. Just make sure to book your ride 20–30 minutes earlier because it can be hard to get a car in this area. There are small shops nearby if you need drinks or basic items, but by around 9:40 pm, most places close and the area becomes very quiet. The river view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The guesthouse is located at the foothill area with charming ancient China village vibes — peaceful and scenic. The hospitality was truly heartfelt. We also noticed many Malay guests have stayed here before, so they are familiar with preparing Muslim-friendly meals. Overall, we had a very warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Xiling Snow Mountain.
