Minshan Hotel Hotels in Chengdu

An old stalwart of Chengdu hotels. Location can't be beaten. Hotel is starting to show it's age, but that now makes it great value (at times). Everything still works well. Apparently has a gym, but we didn't have the time. Breakfast varied, but on the disappointing end of western breakfast spreads. Front desk and housekeeping services are slick. The trip to Chengdu was even more wonderful because of the hotel's thoughtful service. On the way there, the hotel manager called us in advance to communicate. We booked an ordinary double room. He understood the travelers and the itinerary. He knew that we were a family, so the hotel specially equipped children's supplies, such as children's toothbrushes and children's slippers, which were of very good quality. After check-in, the service staff gave us fruits and milk, which was very thoughtful. The hotel is in an excellent location, surrounded by Internet celebrity restaurants, so there is no worry about food and drink, which exceeded expectations.
