Great
AArp303This hotel does a really good job of capturing the “Hard Rock” vibe so if you’re into that you’ll enjoy your stay at this property. Lots of memorabilia dotted around, great music and some lovely touches around the hotel. We stayed in a deluxe room which was small but furnished to a good standard with a very comfy bed. Bathroom was well equipped and the balcony was a decent size. Jukebox feature on the TV is excellent and allows you to get the party started before you go out or continue it after hours in your room. Having YouTube on the TV is handy too. The pools were good, there’s 2 pretty large ones and they look great during the day and night. The rooftop deck is quite chilled, it has a bar and an infinity pool with beds to suit everyone really, lots of variety so standard cushioned beds and lower body shaped beds. There are several “Bali beds” that come with a 150 Euro minimum spend. Sounds like alot but the food & drink isn’t cheap so can be done relatively easily if you plan to stay at the pool all day and have lunch. The pools are shallow but a good size and the infinity pool offers a brilliant view over the second pool area. The second pool area features a stage and DJ booth at the top of the pool and is louder. The pool parties that Hard Rock offer are held here during the day as well so bear that in mind when selecting your bed. There is an “Eden Cafe” in this area offering burgers and the like during the day and the main “Sessions” restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner too if you book half board. We booked bed & breakfast so didn’t eat dinner at the property. We did have lunch on our first afternoon at the Eden cafe and it was very good. The breakfast offers an excellent selection & its tasty. They also have a musicians playing a different instrument each day on the outdoor terrace which is a nice touch. The bar area in the lobby lacks atmosphere and is a little on the slow side to get a drink. The cocktails are good though and its worthwhile having a drink there, especially if a live band is on. Service at the hotel was very good overall and we very much enjoyed our stay. The bellhops in particular are excellent. They provided us with a “courtesy room” on checkout day (we had a late flight) which was a nice touch after having checked out already and been out all day. The location of the hotel was further out than we thought and required you to either walk through a large, unkept subway or walk down narrow busy roads with several hills. The subway route is best and takes around 15 mins to Porto Banus but is not ideal at night. We had no issues and saw no undesirables but I do think Hard Rock could do more to make that subway more inviting (clean it, add their branding, have music playing etc). I don’t think they own it but perhaps they should take ownership of how it looks at the very least as it could quite easily put some people off staying at the hotel. The “Casino Marbella” is attached to the hotel. It’s a nice Casino but lacks atmosphere. You also need your passport to enter (I had to go back to the room) so bear that in mind too. There is a handy supermarket opposite the hotel that has a great selection of snacks, ice cream, toiletries, booze etc plus it’s really cheap. There’s a lovely little bar called “Park Lane Sports Bar” that is family run and really charming. The drinks are cheap and the people who run it are very friendly. The resident dog “Lolo” is also quite a character and really makes the bar. We also ate at a lovely little Spanish restaurant called “Noto” - the prawns, pizza and service was excellent. There are more luxurious hotels to stay in Marbella and hotels in nicer locations but for a party vibe, good food & drink, strong pool decks and friendly service the Hard Rock is a solid choice.

KK-KHWe had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tarik. Hotel’s design is charming, especially the corridor leading to the room that adds a touch of elegance and character to the overall atmosphere. We stayed in a patio room with a terrace which gives us adequate space for relaxing. Guests do not need to hire sun bathing chairs at the beach as the upper terrace of the swimming pool provides these facilities facing directly to the Mediterranean Ocean. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options to start the day. Beer served at the swimming pool is good but cocktails is not the recipe we get used to and could be better. Amenities can be improved by putting a small fridge in the room and providing foam bath in addition to soap. Every member of the staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and pleasant experience throughout our stay. Need to mention Barbara at the front desk who was incredibly helpful and went beyond to assist with anything we needed Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-run hotel in Torremolinos!

CCampanillaA very complete hotel, with indoor and outdoor pools, free spa, entertainment (very simple), the apartments are up-to-date with all the details, they are spacious, new and clean and you have a butler service via WhatsApp that works very well. The staff very friendly. There is free parking in the area without problems. The location is close to the Santa Ana area and close to supermarkets and restaurants. The hotel itself has a supermarket and restaurant that I did not visit. The only thing I would change is that the arrival has to be after 4:00 p.m. and the departure before 10:00 a.m., so you lose a lot of time during your stay.

GGuest UserVery nice holiday apartment complex with outdoor pools and indoor fitness pool plus Sauna & Jacuzzi (must Book session in advance to avoid overcrowding - good idea I think) Staff all friendly and helpful, studio apartment spacious, clean and well equipped. Free parking, restaurant on site plus convenience store, takeaway restaurant, bar, etc. 5 mins walk to a nice beach. Helpful to have a car if you wish to visit lots of different places though. Can be a little bit noisy with other guests coming back to apartments late at night especially as windows are just single glazed. Can't be helped though. Would definitely consider staying again, if the price is right! Thank you so much a nice stay.

CClaire MThe location of Don Alfredo is unbeatable!!! You basically fall out of the hotel and into the old town of Marbella. That said, the hotel is not one of the newest and it's a bit rocked down, but still well kept. The room was very basic but clean, as was the bathroom. We didn't plan to spend a lot of time in the room anyways, so for our purposes it was perfect for a quite affordable price! 😀 The staff was kind and helpful and in the morning they brought coffee according to our wishes to the dining room table or also to one of the tables right outside at the entrance of the hotel. Coffee was great, but breakfast was not very impressive, so we only had a little bite, but always took some fruit from the fruit bowl 🍎🍏🍊 Parking outside the hotel was a bit difficult, but not far there was the possibility to park for free, just needed to circle a bit sometimes and get lucky with a spot getting empty right in front of us ... Altogether, we enjoyed our stay a lot ... The old Castillo de Marbella was right in front of the hotel and there was a little resto named El Rincón de la Muralla that would seat you right beside the Castle wall - very romantic at night! 💕 After dinner there, we only had a few steps to take to get into bed and enjoy a good night's sleep ... As for the pictures, only the first one is showing the hotel, the rest are pictures taken in the old town Marbella, super close to the hotel - and just to prove how great this location is! 😎

XXinnanWent for a holiday and happy with the stay. The hotel is located in a nice area, with clean room and facilities. Plenty of space to relax during the day,  Local area is convenient, with Carrefour in walking distance and a lot of restaurants. Though the restaurants near the beach are overrated and I would not recommend. Food in the hotel was good, with great value and flexibility. I could just turn up for a dinner and pay at the entrance without any prior booking or notice. I liked it. Parking was very easy - just navigate to the hotel and you will see the entrance at the front door of the hotel. There is no way you would miss it. It cost 10 EUR a day. However, do prepare for the mosquitos as there are plenty. I had to buy repellent and sprays in Carrefour to deal with the issue. And we had to shut the balcony during the dawn and night and decided not to use the balcony. The hotel should provide the basic facility for the mosquitos repellent, such as an electric repellent heater.

GGuest UserLovely hotel, very clean and modern apartment. Unfortunately we were located above the ventilation for the laundry/technical room so not a minute day or night that didn't sound like we were next to a factory! We were in room 515 and really this room and the rooms above and below should be blocked off. Not only the constant noise but various smells, some nice....washing, some not so great.....school dinners! We did ask to move rooms immediately but only 2 rooms with small double beds were offered and we liked the large twin beds. Would definitely stay again but only if we could guarantee to be away from the ventilation system. The only other issue... we fancied eating dinner in the restaurant one evening. On arrival, we asked if there were vegetarian options as it's a buffet. The guy told us to go to the snack bar! Overall a great place for a holiday, just not in room 515!

XX~tinaThe most bare hotel I have been to. Kettles need to be rented for a charge + deposit. There are no cups or cutlery in the room. Mini fridge is empty. I think I can understand why the hotel went for such measures given the crowd that is staying there - too many wild screaming Britons. Breakfast tables have nothing but a cloth. Lounge chairs are bare plastic making them very uncomfortable to use. Most of the chairs are in fact not available for use because guests dump their towels to reserve them and then not show up for hours. Staff allow this behaviour. The loud entertainment went on till 23:30 (accompanied by partying guests next door) so if you want to sleep any time before that - forget it, it's like trying to sleep inside a night club. Beach towels are not provided, bathroom towels cannot be taken out so if you didn't bring your own - tough. It is a beach property but the beach is private and hotel guests do not get any discounts. The shower was hot and had good pressure but there was hair left in the drain. Beds seemed good at first but I woke up with back pain. Went up to take a look at the roof terrace which looked lovely but we didn't stay for a drink. All in all the hotel was not for us and certainly would not recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing place.

JJohanI had a sea view room, but my balcony didn't get a complete view. The view is better from the infinity pool. I had dinner at the hotel. €18 is not bad for the amount and variety of food. The food was good, tasty. The room was average. Clean linen. The pillows are long and wasn't the most comfortable. There was just one pillow so no other pillow to exchange. There was a kettle and tea. There was no coffee. The airvent in the bathroom is either not working or not doing a good job. My balcony mostly overlooked the pool. I was satisfied with the view. The gym is not so big and extremely stuffy. The aircon is not working. The spa was nice. Late afternoon were a good mix of guys. The spa is only open for 4 hours. I wish the spa was open later. You need to walk a few steps down to the beach. There is another property in front of the hotel before you get to the beach. The hotel is walking to a lot of bars, restaurants and clubs. The station is close by. The infinity nude pool is a nice feature. Both swimming pools are fairly cold. During my stay the water was a bit cold, the water is not heated. It was October.
