"We stayed for two nights. We requested a towel change for the second night, but this request was refused. While the room itself was clean, there was no place to sit other than the bed—there was no sofa, and not even a chair. The facilities are very minimal, yet the price is not particularly inexpensive. Additionally, a hair dryer is listed as a standard amenity, but we were told that it would only be provided if we specifically requested it at check-in. There was no information or notice about this anywhere. During our stay, the reception desk was always unattended, and urgent requests could not be accommodated. Even when we called early in the morning, we sometimes did not receive a response until late afternoon. It appears that requests cannot be handled outside of the cleaning staff’s working hours."

Mamacitas Guest House

"Mamacitas is a place that is currently being remodeled, it is one of the best locations on the Island, the room is spacious, air conditioned, very clean and in very good condition (it seems that it was recently remodeled). The access staircase should be improved for carrying suitcases up and down. The attention at the reception is very friendly. We had the opportunity to visit several places on Culebra Island and I think that once the remodeling of the terrace/bar/restaurant is finished, it will be one of the best places on the island."
