"Meals : Absolutely the best meal we’ve had in a long trip around north western NSW. I wouldn’t have believed that out in the rugged Pilliga Scrub I could have found authentic German style food. Large and delicious meals at an affordable price. If your out this way, this is well worth a visit. Pottery : The place is literally covered in creative and artistic pottery and ceramic stuff. The potter has a capable artistic streak, but I went for the food."

"Still feel angry when thinking back on the moment the reception told us 8ish pm, when trying to check in, that night’s booking was cancelled due to their overbooking. The booking was made through their OWN website and CONFIRMED with their email. They said they called but it was not successful. I suppose in the industry you are well aware the motel customers are somewhere in the country area where phone coverage could be unpredictable, even with Telstra? That’s the only reason explained I didn’t receive any phone call? You sent the email to confirm the booking. There is no reason you can’t send an email to cancel. Perhaps try a second call or send a text message. Plenty of things you could have done to show a little bit of customer mindset."

"Very convenient location. Friendly staff. Great budget accommodation. Enjoyed the fish and chips dinner as well. Nicely maintained grounds. Room were were in - the family room - was very spacious, and would be ideal for someone with several children . Shower was a pleasant relief after a long day or driving and sightseeing. Bathroom was very clean. Caught the ABC news on the TV and enjoyed hearing that Fiji beat the Wallabies! Wi Fi seemed fine and no problems. It was a bit of a chilly morning - and the inverter /heat was fantastic. Plenty of hot water as well. There is a pool and a playground. We heard that there are new owners?/managers? And, we wish them all the best of luck with this new opportunity as they sort through any issues with a new business. "
