All the other reviews saying this place is clean baffle me (see pics). I have traveled a lot in China and this place is similar to other low-budget hotels that just haven’t been updated or properly taken care of since what seems like the early 2000s. Wallpaper and paint peeling everywhere. Stains on all the carpeting. Mold in the shower. I changed rooms twice to try and avoid the smell of cigarettes and it was in every room. Some areas of the walls in the room had dark stains from tobacco smoke. One day the elevator was down because rain water was just falling thru the ceiling into the elevator shaft. Made me doubt the safety of the elevators … The staff is friendly and accommodating but I’m not sure about their English skills as I speak Chinese. Location is in the heart of Wudang town and near plenty of small shops and restaurants and the museum, but a good 2km from the park entry for hiking the mountain. I found no trouble getting taxis around the hotel, however, and the ride to the park was ¥6-11 each time. It’s about ¥30-40 for a ride to Wudang West Station. Use the ride app Didi or its functions in Alipay/WeChat to get around.

We had a good experience at this hotel. The room was very large! The service was friendly. The bathroom was not the cleanest and could use some improvement.

Facilities: The facilities are relatively old, the windows cannot be closed, and the window screens are useless when they are barely closed. The air conditioner rumbles like a tractor all night, and the air outlet is broken. It blows towards the bed, which makes your mouth dry. Several rooms are like this. Hygiene: The bathroom may have just been cleaned, it is full of water. As soon as you enter, the whole room smells of betel nut. Service: Checked in at night, came on the second day of the Chinese New Year, maybe there were too many people, and there was no room to change. The front desk said to find someone to repair the window, but it didn't come. Even more bottles of water were not given.

The room is large, the air conditioning and heating effect is not very good, the decoration is very old, you can't turn right when you leave the parking lot, there is no one-way sign when you leave the hotel, I was almost photographed, fortunately the local enthusiastic lady chased me and shouted: Violation! It is recommended to set up a sign at the exit of the hotel parking lot to remind you not to turn right.

The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities and equipment, spacious and bright, and comfortable and satisfactory stay! It is very close to Wudang Mountain Scenic Area, near the Wudang Museum, and there is Yuxu Palace Pedestrian Street nearby, which is good for food, drinks and fun. You can go to the river for a leisure walk at night, which is all good!

Stayed for two days, the equipment and accessories are complete, clean and sanitary, the service is thoughtful and enthusiastic. Very satisfied.

The location is good. The hotel parking lot is a one-way street, so those coming from the main road should follow the parking lot signs. There is a square and a museum on the side of the hotel. Those who sleep lightly at night should tell the customer service in advance (there are exercises in the morning and amusement facilities in the evening).
