"I would 100% not recommend this hotel booked a room we were at the hotel before reception was supposed to close for check-in. No one was there. We had to sleep in our car and then the hotel in the morning completely lied and said they were open and they had made calls to us, they still charged us. do not trust this Hotel they are liars!!!!"

"We had to book this hotel for our stay as the usual hotel in Almelo was fully booked. The hotel was nice though it showed its age in some areas. As others had mentioned, there were several facilities and I saw a number of families brought their young ones here for a few days of holidays. However the hotel is located in a corner of Delden making it rather remote to supermarket and restaurants in town. The walk to these will take about 20 minutes per way. The restaurant provided nice food but they only served breakfast on Sundays. We had to call for food delivery on Sunday. Nevertheless a good stay if you want to relax and enjoyed the facilities. But do note that getting a taxi or Uber could take some time."

"The two of us stayed for one night in De Zwaan (Delden). The room was quite large (at least twice as big as an average hotel room, the bath room was excellent. It seemed, that even the doors in our room were visible by some way of lighting at the bottom side of each door, so without disturbing the relative rest of your partner it was possible to find your way to the toilet in absolute darkness. The dinner was excellent, as was the breakfast. We were allowed to break our fast in an adjacent room, and also there all candles were lit. Very nice and helpful personel, who were also taking time for some short conversation e.g. on the history of Delden and the Twickel estate, though they were very busy. And the coffee was very good!
