"I have a terrible experience staying in hotel Sea and Sand in Digha . In my lunch l found small dead cockroach in my fish curry and when l called them and show the cockroach nobody from the hotel management committee apologies for the incident. Then later on l found the kitchen is full of cockroaches . Very unhealthy kitchen. In the swimming pool also boys are spitting and there is no supervision for that . So we could not use the swimming pool also . We have taken sea view room. The room is ok and clean . Sharing photos of cockroach in food"

"We stayed at JP Hotel on 29th January 2026 as a group of four. We had booked a quadruple room with two queen beds. The room location was not very satisfactory, but the room itself was quite spacious and comfortable for all of us. One convenient aspect was that drinks and smoking were allowed inside the room. We also tried food from the hotel’s restaurant — the quality and quantity were both good and satisfactory. Another plus point is the location — the beach is just around 200 meters away, making it an easy walking distance. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool, though we didn’t get a chance to use it. However, parking space at the hotel is limited, which could be a concern for guests traveling by car. Overall, a decent stay with spacious rooms and good dining, especially suitable for groups."

"The room was clean and comfortable, which was the only positive aspect of my stay. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was poorly maintained. I had booked my stay with breakfast included, which was supposed to be served from 8 AM to 10 AM. However, when I went for breakfast at 9:30 AM, several items were already unavailable. Upon asking, I was told that earlier guests had taken more than their share, and nothing could be done. Additionally, some of the staff members were not very courteous, which further affected the overall experience."

There was also a rat in the room which roamed about the entire room making noises at night. we complained at the hotel about the rat but they simply ignored the matter and did not pay any attention to this matter."
