"Very poor experience at New Castle Country Inn. Damp room in basement and very noisy at night with traffic going by into the wee hours of the morning. Bugs in the bathroom in corners but looked dead. Breakfast was a not good. I found a hair in my food and so did the person sitting at the same table. A real turn off! Yet paid a premium rate for room. Did not get money's worth."

"This is a gem in Drumheller. We were greeted by cheerful staff, shown to our room, which was very spacious, clean, well organized, and best of all, access to a private patio area. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the Heartwood Inn to everyone planning to stay in Drumheller. It's a very short drive to Rosewood and great theatre."

Quality Hotel

"The reception staff are very friendly. Everyone works efficiently and responds well, which makes you feel at ease. There was a small white towel provided with the coffee set in the room so you could wipe up any spills. This is a hotel with great attention to detail. I also like that breakfast is free. You can bake your own waffles and bread, and there's a timer so it's easy to do. There's a large supermarket right next door, so you can buy dinner there. There was a wide variety of prepared foods available, which were delicious. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity."

"I stayed here to visit the Tyrrell Museum. I appreciated that breakfast was included. There are also many shops nearby, which is convenient. The receptionist was unfriendly."

"The room is ok but during my booking I requested a room far in lift because to avoid the loud noise! Because we have 2yr old daughter so we can have a nice sleep after a tiring whole day. But the hotel gave us a room beside the pool area and front of stairs! My daughter is crying until midnight because of the loud noises outside our room."
