"was traveling back from a 4 week road trip to Queensland and wanted to relax in Clare . we booked this accommodation and we was not disappointed at all form the lovey messages and phone calls we felt welcomed. once we had found the cottage as there is so many around Clare it felt seclude being on top of the hill. The room was tidy and clean and felt warm and inviting and delicious breakfast provisions as well .Fran was ever so helpful with helping us organise the resiling trail as well. I would highly recommend these beautiful accomodations."

"I read a lot of the previous reviews but still thought I’d give it a go based on the great location. Unfortunately the reviews were stop on. At $500 per night, we stayed 2 nights, the experience needs to be higher, this place is not even close. It was a warm day so you’d expect on arrival the air con would be on, to cool the building. Nope. The air con is undersized for the space so it took 2 hours to cool. The rear window of the sauna was shattered, the bbq was filthy and the outdoor furniture, stained, and wobbly. The fridge is small and doesn’t allow you to take much, luckily I had my car fridge. You’d think a gift basket of local produce would be included based on the cost per night, nope, only an $18 bottle of red which we left. Sunday morning I was greeted by the cleaners and was asked why I was there and did I have a late check out. Nice communication from management. I also asked if they knew about the window being shattered, they did. If you are going to charge top dollar then the experience needs to be at the level. This place is way off and not worth the money. So disappointing."

Honestly the photos do not do justice to how incredible this Bed and Breakfast is, and my fiancé and I are so excited as we have found an absolute gem of a place to host our wedding weekend. The host is incredibly warm and inviting. The suites are a credit to his skills in retaining the heritage of Australiana in bygone years while providing the modern comforts we expect. The price is extremely reasonable considering the quality breakfast provisions and all amenities. So many little personal touches and thoughtful elements make this such an inviting place to stay and come back to over and over again. Thanks for an amazing stay, looking forward to getting back there."
