"Lovely room. Clean and comfortable. The house was continently located to the pub (1 minute walk) which had excellent choice of beers, great food menu and atmosphere."

"My son and I stayed for a night at The Bear hotel in room 6 - a twin room. The room was decorated nicely, spotless, with well working air conditioning and a mini fridge. Beds were comfortable. I had been concerned it might be noisy staying above a pub on a Saturday night but other than a faint murmur at times from below, it wasn’t disturbing at all. Tracy was an absolute gem from start to finish. You felt that noting would’ve been too much to ask. She was very sweet and engaging with my son. He liked it there so much he said it was the best place he’s stayed and asked if we could stay another night..! Alas not this time but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."

"Lovely welcoming host Edwina who looked after us so well. Comfortable clean room with water,juice, and tea and coffee making facilities. Excellent cooked breakfast. Knowledge of area and where to eat at night and willing to book tables."
