"The place was little bit noisy"

"I booked a room last night the 4th January for 1 night ,, I came down with my partner to spend the night there after I had to go to work in the area last night,, I arrived back to the hotel around 7pm and my partner and I decided to go downstairs to enjoy a couple of drinks and some dinner before intending on listening to the music and playing the pokies ,, it was all going well we were enjoying our drinks and dinner outside when Joel a worker/manager came just outside the doors where the restaurant is and yelled at my partner that he had better not be smoking in a non smoking area ,, I found this to be quite rude and my partner was very embarrassed and agitated that Joel had spoken like that to us ,, neither of us were vaping nor did we intend to vape ,, we were eating,, there’s was a vape on the table next to us that my partner had placed on the table instead of sitting on it in his pocket,, after this incident I finished my drink,, we got our dinner taken away and we packed up and left ,, we were gone by 10pm ,, we did not stay ,, I spoke with max and handed him the keys back and also put the complaint into him about what happened,, it would have been ok if Joel had approached us and spoken with us but he yelled across at us so everyone could hear ,, which is very unprofessional and was not needed As we didn’t stay the night due to this incident as my partner and myself didn’t feel comfortable being there and was no longer enjoying a night away ,, we came from Penrith for the night and I’d like to be refunded for it ,,"

"I had a great stay at the Five Islands Hotel! The room was perfect and well equipped - shared bathroom was spotless and felt like an en-suite as was right next door to the room. Definitely worth it for a cheap stay as a solo traveller - a short train ride into Wollongong CBD. Thanks :)"

"The room is actually quite small; the pictures are a bit misleading. It barely fits two large suitcases. There's no wardrobe, no microwave, and no laundry room. The advantages are that the renovation is relatively new, and there's a bar downstairs."

"The hotel is very close to the shopping area so that it is easy to find food. The gym needs around a 5-minute walk. Do ask the reception to give you a room facing the church as it is much quieter!"

"First time staying in a cabin, I had an amazing stay. The cabin was super clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. It was perfect for our group of four. There were a lot of appliances. And it was very close to the beach."

"The apartment is beautiful. Good base for exploring the area. Wollongong is an industrial city. The city itself is not really great. But within a short distance there are beautiful waterfalls, beaches, temples etc. to visit."
