Florence San Lorenzo Hotels

A very satisfying hotel. It is five minutes away from Florence Railway Station. It is very safe. This is a hotel with a beautiful lobby. The rooms retain the old window switches, which are quite interesting. This time I was given a large suite. The middle door was locked to become two suites. I was a little concerned about it. Fortunately, the neighbors were relatively quiet (it is better to talk to the front desk to avoid such a room). The restaurant of this hotel is in an excellent location. You can see the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore every breakfast. When the weather is good, the Tuscan ridges in the distance can be clearly seen. The breakfast does not change much every day, but the variety is OK. The hotel's room service and restaurant service are first-class!

The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the train station, which was incredibly convenient. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. I even went up to the rooftop in the morning to snap some photos; you get a nice view of the city's buildings, and it's definitely a photogenic spot. The room key had a distinctively large tag, which I found quite charming.

Strategically well located, within 3-5 minutes from the Firenze station. With lots food options at reasonably and budget priced. For instance, just outside the hotel, less than a min walk, a Chinese no frills restaurant provides a good Asian spread of Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese Ramen and fusion at competitive prices. Mcdonald is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Other Italian restaurants are found within 3-5 mins walk from the hotel. Though, this place is busy and bustly, it is rather safe to move around. The security system in the hotel is good and rather peaceful. Staff are excellent with good knowledge of The city of Florence. The Duomo (see Pic) is about 10mins walk from the hotel. Further down, about 5 mins walk, you can access the Uffizy Gallery with great Art collection of the Renaissance era. Also, you can take a 10 mins walk via the Firenze station to access coaches for our daily tours and Designer’s factory outlet at The Mall. No regrets booking Cosimo for comfort and convenience for our great Florentine experience.

Hotel location is particularly good! So that we kept passing by the Basilica of the Virgin of the Hundred Flowers, we were tired. It was very close to the train station and the central square, and it was next to the Chinese street. We had a Chinese meal for a week. It was also very close to the net red zaza restaurant. The room was very spacious. Very suitable for parent-child travel, breakfast is very rich. In short, cost-effective, very satisfied.

It is not so much a hotel, in fact, it is similar to a homestay, the location is more convenient, just on the edge of the central market, but the shortcomings are also obvious, there is a garbage collection station downstairs, and the garbage truck starts to work at five o'clock in the morning. It is a large house changed suite. The bathroom and bathroom are the feeling of adding later, so the ground is relatively humid, and it is difficult to separate dry and wet. The room has coffee and drinks are free. The house number is very difficult to find. There is a small wooden door code lock downstairs. If you have to go up the stairs, heavy luggage is more difficult. It is not recommended for family travel.

A nice hotel close to the station. Family run. Trip advertised breakfast but that wasn't included. Happy to store luggage through the day. Would've extended for an extra night if they'd had space.

It was exactly as you expect 3star hotel to be, a bit worn out, but has it's charm. my room was simple, but tidy. Main inconvenience was the bathroom, although clean, it has two downsides: 1) the shower is quite small and when you get inside the curtain is always sticking to you. 2) the toilet flash was broken, never worked on the first try - I had to press many-many times to flush it. It didn't ruin the experience, but it's a bit annoying for sure

Right next to the Medici Chapel, the location is very convenient, about 7-8 minutes walk to the train station, about 5 minutes walk to Santa Maria del Fiore, 2 minutes walk to the Central Market, there is no shortage of restaurants, supermarkets and shopping around, the location is extremely advantageous, and it feels very safe. The service is also good, the room is large, and the price-performance ratio is very high.

The triple room booked is very large in the corner room and the scenery outside the window is very good. The important thing is that it is very convenient to go anywhere, and you can walk directly. Health is OK, no particularly dirty place is found. The room is equipped with coffee machine, slippers, toiletries, etc.

It's an older hotel, but it's exceptionally well-maintained and charming. Its location right by the Central Market is incredibly convenient for reaching all the main tourist attractions, and there are plenty of delicious restaurants nearby. The hotel staff are friendly, and the breakfast is decent. I particularly appreciated how they frequently replenished small batches of plates to ensure warm ones were always available. Daily cleaning was thorough. Even more impressively, in the evenings, housekeeping staff would proactively go around asking guests if they needed any turn-down service before bed, even without a prior request. Overall, it's a hotel with truly thoughtful service. If I ever return to Florence, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
