"Since I had an early flight, I booked this hotel for my last night in Perth as a transitional stay. Getting here from my city hotel on the 940 bus was very convenient. When checking in, the staff carefully asked about my flight time and recommended the best complimentary airport shuttle for my schedule; the shuttle runs every 45 minutes. Overall, it's much better than the transit hotel I stayed at near Sydney Airport. There are fast-food restaurants like KFC and convenience stores nearby."

"Front desk guy watching movie while welcoming’ us. No elevator & on 3rd floor. Door so dodgy had to be forced to open it. Kettle broken didn’t turn on & full of rust.I rang for a new one, they said you just have to wiggle it a bit. Eventually brought a new one. Window blind broken, hooked closed over a broken piece. Couldn’t open it part way to get light, either open or shut. Door & window left large painful impressions into hands to try open.Toilet system ran 24/7. Woke us up. Shower so hot it almost scalded us then when toilet started running it took the cold from shower & had to jump out of water to not burn. So run down & dirty overall. Walls all marked up & filthy with makeup, scuff marks & general dirt. Bathroom floor always wore thongs as dirty. No floor mat, hand towel in bathroom. Nothing to wash or dry our cups with. Wasn’t told about breakfast options, then saw ppl eating there. Bed so uncomfortable, terrible flat pillows & blanket as thin as a sheet, so cold. Noise shocking when guests arrived rear midnight scraping cases & talking so loud. Better overall option would be to sleep in car. Paid for 2 nights, left after one. Guy at reception wasn’t there & saw him after we put key in drop box. Told him left early, there was absolutely no care, no service."

"The room had one double bed and two single beds, and the location was right across from Kings Park. On check-out day, we were able to temporarily park our car in their lot before heading to Rottnest Island. The only downside is that it's quite far from public transport (bus and train stations), so we had to use a ride-sharing service to get there."

"I have been to the Rose and Crown for meals a few times over the years all in their outdoor garden areas. What a beautiful surprise to see the indoor restaurant , it is so cozy with the welcoming fire, white table cloths and classy feel. The staff were very friendly and attentive, however my pet hate of being called “guys” was disappointing as the decor is so classy I felt this pulled down the quality of the venue, it was like I was being welcomed onto Virgin airlines, who are known for “Hi guys” and this restaurant is certainly at a higher serving standard than Virgin airlines! Prices and quality of the food was very good. We will certainly be returning to this multi seasonal hotel. Highly recommend. "

"The location is not closed to Perth station, need to walk 15 mins. But it is closed to William street and there are a variety of restaurants! We stayed for two nights. The room in second night is is too small and we cannot open a big luggage. There is no hair conditioner provided. Please bring your own. We were located near the car park on ground floor. It was very noisy. Staff is nice to lend us umbrella when it was raining."
