"Really nice hotel, located right next to convenience store, across the street has Daiso. The service is really good and polite, able to speak good English. Definitely recommended!"
"Great location : near Fujinomiya station, easy to find, has car park with 600 yen fee.
Room : not too small for two people, two big luggages can fit, comfortable bed and pillow, bathroom is quite small but that’s typically.
Breakfast: very good
Overall experience is better than we have expected !!"
"Decent hotel that is most advantageous for it's location - it is immediately next to the train station and bus station, providing great convenience for any trip in the area. It is near to many restaurants, cafes, a mall, and the Fuji World Heritage Center which is a very well thought-out museum.
A few problems concern cleanliness and it's amenities. We found a few bugs across the hotel and the bathroom sometimes produced an odor (not of our own making, mind you). The amenities are mostly in good working order but are are limited in some annoying ways. Food quality and variety in the breakfast could be a little better - no coffee is available even though there is a coffee machine for instance. Laundry machines are only available when the baths are open for a few hours in the morning and evening.
One other issue concerns the notion that although the hotel has stated on signs that they would be unable to access our room without the key, they were able to do so anyway when we requested to change the bedding with the bug in it. This left us a little perplexed.
Otherwise, other aspects of the hotel were up to snuff. Friendly staff. Efficient service. Willing to store luggage. The welcome drink (pour your own alcoholic drink) was a nice touch."
"It was an old-fashioned hotel. Although the facilities were generally old, it was clean and comfortable.
There was Wi-Fi, but the connection speed was such that I could send SNS messages but not watch videos.
I could see Mt. Fuji clearly from the hotel room, as in the photo.
The staff were nice.
As for amenities, toothbrushes were available for pick-up, and yukatas were also available for rental.
I left the next day at 3am to climb Mt. Fuji, but since it was outside the check-out time, I put my key in the locker at the front desk and checked out. Also, the front desk is only open until 1am, so I left my luggage the previous day before going to bed and picked it up after I finished climbing."
"The hotel is conveniently located next to the local train station with some shops for dining for dinner and lunch. The staff though not Japanese were fluent in English and Japanese which is rare in Japan especially in the outskirts!
We were there for 3 days but did not see Mt Fuji until Day2 late evening... Clouds parted and Mt Fuji is huge in Fujiniahinomiya !! Its was indeed a sight to behold but only for a few hours but it was amazing!!
Breakfast is simple but adequate. However if Ihave to eat it more than 3 days wud probably forego the third day onwards unless food is not a joy in Life."
"Such a spectacular place to stay! The owners are extremely friendly. They are there when you need (during check in, morning of check out) but leave a lot of privacy to the guests.
The unit is very well appointed, with all amenities prepared. There's a separate study/office where you can work if needed. The den overlook the pond of the shrine 50m from the residence.
There is a full kitchen which we definitely enjoyed making and having dinner and breakfast there.
Would go back again."
"Such a lovely hostel, more like a hotel it was so spacious honestly the bathroom toilet washroom was so clean and tidy.
The staff were so wonderful and helpful I highly recommend this hostel I really enjoyed my stay"
"Absolutely amazing, I recommend this to anyone coming to Fuji. You can get a bus to the fujinomiya trail from the fujinomiya station situated very close to the hotel. The inside is really clean with various amenities. The ladies who own the place are an absolute joy. I even got a lift to the bus station and they tried to help me find a place where I can rent a motorbike. I got a room with a futon, ac, table and a bin. It was spacious. Will book again if I'll be back."
"The South Asian guy at the front desk was very welcoming. This hotel is suitable for poor travelers traveling alone. It is not far from Fujinomiya Station. It is a small place. It is enough for one day. The streets were deserted at night. I felt like I was the only one in the whole city that night. mainland tourists"
"The B&B is very conveniently located; just a few minutes' walk from Fujinomiya Station, turn left. It's also easy to find, easily visible from the outside. Surrounding amenities are very convenient, with convenience stores and drugstores all within easy reach. There's also a large shopping mall directly behind the house, perfect for shopping, dining, and movies. Since the area isn't very popular, there aren't many nearby attractions, but they're all close to the B&B, making it very convenient. However, perhaps due to the lack of tourists, some shops on the shopping street were closed. This time, I stayed overnight to climb Mount Fuji at the Fifth Station. The mountain climbing bus stop is just across the bridge from JR Fujinomiya Station. The B&B's interior was impeccable, as was its cleanliness and comfort."
