"I booked a city view, but they assigned me a room with a fan? I changed the room right away, but I couldn't shake the feeling that the female staff member in charge was ******. It's not that there were no rooms, but it's ridiculous that they gave us a bad room that we didn't choose, which is an option that other people would avoid. I was sure of it when they never greeted us first as we were Asians as we walked around the lobby. It was the end of our trip and I was so tired, so I changed the room right away, but I regret not complaining strongly when I think of other Koreans who will come in the future. However, everyone except me was kind, and the room condition was good (the AC was bad). Breakfast was not bad. However, the sound of sports cars passing by at night was noisy. The area called Glendale itself was safe and comfortable."

"I originally planned to stay for 3 nights, but ended up extending for another 6. The surrounding area is very safe, with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants. It's also very quick to get onto the freeway. Parking was about $40 a night, which is acceptable for Los Angeles."

"There's no elevator and the soundproofing is poor; I was prepared for these issues after reading reviews when booking, and I can't expect more at this price. The $150 deposit upon check-in was a complete surprise. Why is it so high for a woman with an 8-year-old child? Furthermore, the room was full of chargeable food and drinks, and the refrigerator was almost full of them. I specifically requested a quiet room, but they gave me a room without a street view, with pipes running all over the place. The pipes were incredibly noisy, and the air conditioner was like an earthquake, and it was also very dirty. Now I'm just wondering when I'll get my $150 deposit back?"

"The price was okay, and the room was quite spacious, but not exceptionally clean. There was some dust, but it wasn't terrible for the price. Housekeeping changed the towels daily. I recommend specifying a non-smoking room when booking, as otherwise, you'll get a room that smells strongly of cigarette smoke. There's a refrigerator and a microwave. There are no power outlets by the bed, but luckily, the cords are long, so it's not a problem. Plus, if you're on the ground floor, you can hear the noise from the floor above constantly. Parking is limited and the spaces are narrow; you can park, but it's difficult to open the car door. If the parking lot is full, you can park on the street in front of the hotel, but you have to move your car before 7 am. We checked out early because of an early flight. When we called, the staff sounded a bit annoyed, but they said we could leave it at the check-in window. It's convenient. A short drive away are Raley and Target; you don't see many homeless people. It's a 15-20 minute drive to the Griffith Observatory."

"we stayed five nights to be close to oxy. generally the location and facility felt quite safe and convenient to both oxy and nearby glendale americana. parking was always available on-site when we needed it. we had minimal interaction with the staff (checkin/checkout was easy polite and efficient). the room was quiet, private, and reasonably clean (not super new or fancy but no complaints), the ac was functional and kept us at comfortable temp throughout. some of the electrical outlets need maintenance and required some fidgeting to get power flowing just right but this was very minor. we would stay here again for sure; good value overall."

"The building is average looking with friendly manager. I had apartment 201 which was an upstairs unit. The white bedspread had stains on it, that looked like fecal stains from someone sitting on the white spread. The sheets were fine. The carpeting looked like it had not been shampooed in years. The sleeping area has two ceiling lights that were not working. Not so sure that the TV remote was working, but was able to work the TV using the on and off buttons. There were no light switches near the bed so I had to get out of bed to turn on and off the ceiling lights. The baseboards were very dirty and dusty. Spots on the walls. The headboard needed to be dusted. The bathroom had decent water pressure and sufficient hot water. The walls near the toilet and sink counter were full of spots. Spider webs on the side of the toilet walls. Ceiling exhaust fan was not working, and one light in the bathroom was out. Towels were clean but put on he racks not completely dry. In general I would say that the cleaning staff probably touches the obvious areas but does not pay attention to details. Even the lightswitch covers had a layer of dust on the top of the cover. I have pictures, but not going to spend anymore time on this review. Just want to warn future customers looking at this location."
