"We stayed three nights at the Paradox Hotel. The hotel's location is very central. It is within walking distance of the Harbourfront and many other nearby attractions and restaurants. It's a short Uber ride from Gastown and Stanley Park, and there's a farmers market within walking distance on Saturdays. We loved the hotel because the staff was friendly and it was easy to get around. Valet is CAD 50 per night and well worth it. There is also free bike and scooter rental at the hotel. The best part is that there is both an indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub. The indoor pool area serves as a nightclub at night and a swimming pool in the morning. The room is spacious, clean, and meticulously maintained."
"As others have noted, there is a club next door that is open Fridays and Saturdays. You don't know this until you arrive and the ear plugs they give you are not the best. It didn't really bother us as we were so tired from travelling across country and exploring Vancouver all day, but to anyone just coming in, you might not be getting the best night's sleep."
"It's very close to the airport the hotel is connected to the skytrain station, just 15mins train to there. But it's not close to the downtown area.
The hotel will give u $20 free play per guest for your stay, so basically free money to play in casino!! 🤣
They also did complimentary upgrade my room😍 Love this stay and it is a shame that they charged every guest for the resort fee even tho you dont use it. But still pretty good stay!!"
"Very friendly and helpful staffs, and got upgraded to a 2-bedrooms family suite. We were greeted everything we passed by the lobby. Walking distance to many nice restaurants and the decorations outside the hotel was amazing (esp the lights on the trees at night). Breakfast was top the top floor with a very nice view, however, limited seats available on the buffet area and need to walk some stair to an upper floor to find a seat."
"The hotel boasts an excellent location. We took public transport from the airport, and it was just a 6-minute walk from the stop to the hotel. Our room was spacious, offering a pleasant street view from the window. What really impressed us was that the front desk staff spoke Chinese. They were incredibly welcoming and provided detailed recommendations for sightseeing and essential tips for exploring Vancouver independently. Absolutely fantastic!"
"Had a great stay at the Sandman Hotel in downtown Vancouver! I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a room with a king-sized bed, which made the stay extra comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of downtown with easy access to shops, restaurants, and major attractions. It was super convenient to walk around and explore the city.
The staff were friendly, professional, and quick to help with any questions I had. The room was clean, modern, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
The only downside was the $25 per day charge for parking, which I wasn’t expecting. It’s something to keep in mind if you’re bringing a vehicle. That aside, everything else was smooth and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel with comfortable rooms and great service, the Sandman is definitely worth considering. I’d happily stay here again!"
"Went to the front desk and asked for bedroom slippers, but it never came. I booked and paid for a marina view room, we were placed at tge 4th floor which onky allow us to see the parking lot. I called the reception and asked for a higher floor view instead, and was advised that no available rooms on the higher floor. The lady at the front desk seemed to not care at all upon talking to her at the reception and while I was on the phone with her. When we were checking in with the male receptionist, we were initially put at at the 7th floor, but then this lady receptionist came in and changed us to the 4th floor. I felt discriminated and I feel that she did not treat me well because I am filipono. She never smiled and did not even make an eye contact with me. She needs to be trained!"
"We loved this place, very friendly and caring owner and manager who made sure we were taken care of before we moved in and after check out.
The condo is very strategically located in Vancouver, easy access to all areas by public transport or walking. Good view from the condo.
There is a very big oriental supermarket and Costco nearby. Great for grocery shopping; we had everything in the kitchen for home cooked meals too. Chinatown is within walking distance, plenty of food in the area from all international cuisines."
"Review hotel
We recently stayed at the Century Plaza Hotel in Vancouver and had a great experience. The hotel's location is very convenient, situated right in the downtown Vancouver. It made exploring the city and accessing public transportation very easy.
Our room was spacious, big space, clean, and well-appointed with a kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary coffee and tea.
The staff at Century Plaza were always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with any requests, which enhanced our stay even further.
One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant C|Prime, which served delicious Italian meals with a good variety of options.
Overall, our stay at Century Plaza Hotel was fantastic. We will definitely return on our next trip to the city!"
"I booked for 3 nights stay at the hotel. On my first night, I checked into my room which was facing Beatty Street overlooking the BC Place, there was a 2-day concert on going until 11pm. I rang the front desk and asked for room swap, unfortunately all rooms were fully booked at the time. The next day I received a call from the front desk and they were happy to offer another room for my remaining stay, away from the main street where the concert was held. Overall great hotel location, right in the middle of city centre with lots restaurants and shops."

Amazing
GGuest UserMy husband and I stayed overnight in Vancouver to see a hockey game. The hotel is close to many amazing restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to Rogers Stadium so that is always nice so we don’t have to pay for parking or cabs.
The staff were amazing and accommodating as we’d asked to have a room with a balcony, which they were able to do. We had dinner out but had brunch in their restaurant which is on the 5th floor. The atmosphere was so magical, all decorated for Christmas but it was also warm and inviting.
For whatever reason (maybe bcause it was a Tuesday morning) we were the only ones in the restaurant until half way through our brunch, then only one other couple shared the dining room with us. The food was INCREDIBLE and our server Lee was the sweetest most kind person I’ve ever meet. After our brunch we sat by the fireplace with our coffees, relaxing before our 12 pm checkout. It felt like we were in a Manhattan brownstone. We will definitely be coming back in the future and certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends. Staying at LHermitage was an oasis in the midst of a very hard 3 weeks of me just having lost my mom. Thank you 🎄❤️

Bbellawang57This hotel is absolutely fantastic! After flying all the way from South America, I was so impressed. The Wi-Fi was fast, the room amenities were great, and the shower pressure was especially amazing. I'll definitely be staying here again!

LLaohutuzitouService: They offer a free airport shuttle.
Location/Environment: The hotel is close to the airport. Our room faced the street, and the soundproofing wasn't the best. However, there are restaurants and fast food options conveniently located right across the road.
Facilities: The facilities are well-equipped, including a small kitchenette. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are also provided.
Cleanliness: Overall, it was clean and tidy.
Bbarb SteinbrennerWe had a great stay at the Best Western plus Burnaby. It was very convenient.. walking distance to Metrotown Mall, our appointment and many restaurants. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast buffet was great. Lots to choose from.
It's not a new hotel but updated Bed was comfortable.
The only wish we have is for real cups and plates, in room and at breakfast.
KKevin EmanuelWe had a lovely experience at Sunward Coast Westside Homestay. The home was clean, cozy, and located in a quiet, convenient neighborhood. The homeowner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We truly appreciated their understanding and kindness in allowing us a late check-out. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and homely stay in Vancouver!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel was very clean. Our room offered a fantastic view of the ocean, complete with passing cruise ships. The balcony had comfortable chairs, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. The room was spacious, and parking was free.
GGuest UserThe staffs were very friendly and nice. The location was great. It was close to everything we need to see the city. The room was okay. It needs some renovations throughout the hotel to make it more pleasant. Overall, for the price and location I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

GGuest UserCtrip collected the full room fee before I left, but the platform showed it as a credit payment. Then the front desk collected the room fee again when I arrived at the hotel. But when I came back, I didn’t see any refund from Ctrip?

GGuest UserThe front desk staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. The room amenities were also quite well-appointed. The only minor issue was that the air conditioner controls weren't very clear or intuitive to use. The hotel's location is great for shopping, and with plenty of Chinese and Western restaurants nearby, finding delicious food was a breeze.
CCrAzYd426This hotel Actually Better than I expected coz the reviews said it sucks……🤪
I think not too bad indeed tho I haven’t visit the gym yet….
I have no complaint for the room, I think it’s good to have microwave and coffee machine in the room and the lobby has coffee machine with different choice of coffee, it’s so good! 😊
Also there is a Korea Town (about 5 minutes walking from Lougheed Town Center Skytrain Station, this hotel about 10-15 minutes walking distant from the Lougheed Town Center Skytrain Station). There are many restaurants nearby, also there is Lougheed Town Centre (a shopping mall) it’s so convenient 👍🏻
I think it’s ok to stay a night or two but of coz the cleanliness and management could be better 😉
