Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Guangzhou

The hotel is a nice place in a very dirty and underdeveloped area of Guangzhou… the staff was extremely helpful with everything we needed, but the lack of access to the kitchen at night when you don’t have nice restaurants around it was a negative point… we either had to order in or take a taxi to go back to Guangzhou to eat (except for the Mc Donald’s downstairs) … if you are in Guangzhou for the Canton Fair it is not really worth it as it’s really far away… they have shuttle bus for phase 1 and 2 but not for phase 3 so we had to take taxis every time.. we spent between 100-140 RMB every day (both way) in Didi and spent 30-40 minutes on each trip.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. There is no business lounge, but it's easy to work from the ground floor breakfast area outside of breakfast hours. The rooms also offer adequate desk space for working. The self-serve laundry room is one of the best I’ve seen in Guangzhou. The gym is open 24 hours, which is convenient, although it has limited equipment. The location is in a quiet area with a few restaurants within walking distance—otherwise, you'll need to take a Didi.

Service is good for all but the breakfast service is very bad. The service waiter did not clean up the table for others to sit down. Table are so dirty that i feel want to throw the plate on the floor. *** with holiday inn, never add in staff for the food service. Very bad. The reception girl are nice and polite especially the girl name Namy, she give a good service and explanation. The room are good and comfy..
