Really lovely place to stay in a gorgeous area of traditional 1900s Cantonese Guangzhou. Great bars and cafes nearby. Hosts provided me with a western style vegetarian breakfast and a little bit earlier than they normally do which I was very grateful for as I was staying for a work conference in the area.

Staying here was like staying in an minimalist monochrome art space with a window view of nice laneway. They are rooms above a cafe so there is no proper front desk or room service/cleaning. The staff are very helpful but there is only one of them at a time. One thing to know is that there is no elevator.

I didn't expect there is such a stylish place in Guangzhou. There is a coffee shop on the first floor, with a light cream style and a spacious environment. The second and third floors are homestays, with exclusive stairs leading to the guest rooms. I stayed in a room called the Corridor. The afternoon sun warmed the whole room, which was super cozy. Although it is a busy neighborhood during the day, it is particularly comfortable and quiet at night. Love you.

I came to Guangzhou from Beijing and booked a beautiful villa B&B near Beijing Road. The first floor is a coffee shop with a full atmosphere. My room is on the third floor. People come and go during the day, and it is quiet and sleepy at night. The housekeeper is also very considerate. He helped with the luggage and recommended the authentic food street nearby. The promotion is good and photogenic. The house has a history of more than 100 years. I was looking forward to it. When I checked in, the service was average. I had to climb the third floor with my luggage. The parking lot was a five-minute walk away. The parking fee was about 100 yuan a day. It was clean, but many furnishings in the room were not practical. The transparent table lamp beside the bed hit my head several times... The stool looked good but was not easy to sit on. The pillow was too high, so I didn't sleep well all night. The curtains were translucent, and I had to wake up as soon as it got light. What I looked forward to most in Guangzhou was the Guangzhou special breakfast, but it was all frozen and steamed hot. It was just beautifully presented, but not delicious 😅😅😅😖😣
