The place is amazing, the location is the best. The room looks really nice, feels cozy. The coffee is perfect, the breakfast had a lot of variety and looked amazing. We especially loved the area, when you walked from the hotel into small alleys you were completely surrounded by old Cantonese building style blocks, with the windows with the iron fences and laundry hanging around. Like small paintings. We really enjoyed it, would definitely come again.

I’m happy to see the same people still running this charming quiet spot. This was my second visit and the street seems to have been somewhat discovered, but it hasn’t lost its feel. Old Rules (western-style burger place) and the Buddhist vegetarian place are still there, as are the various dessert shops. And you can come back to your comfortable bed after you’re tired from exploring the city and neighborhood. The proximity to the 1 and 2 lines really clinches it for Theraspace.

The hotel itself has a trendy, creative vibe—especially the ground-floor coffee shop, which is a magnet for content creators and social media enthusiasts. During check-in, we were warmly welcomed by a gentleman who went above and beyond, sharing a curated list of local food and drink spots via WeChat. We followed one of his recommendations and ended up enjoying some incredible pan-fried dumplings—truly a highlight of our trip. Our room was bright and comfortable, with a super cozy bed and refreshingly cold air conditioning. While the space showed some signs of wear—like chipped corners and scuffed walls—a fresh coat of paint would easily elevate the experience. The stairs were manageable, and breakfast, though simple, was thoughtfully prepared and satisfying. All in all, we highly recommend this hotel for travelers who appreciate staying in a vibrant, authentic neighborhood with a touch of creative flair.

I booked an elegant villa guesthouse near Beijing Road. The room was incredibly bright and airy, and the orange decor was very soothing. Outside the window, you could see the charming, authentic old houses of Guangzhou's Old Town, giving it a real local vibe. The entire street is lined with coffee shops and bakeries, and two metro stations are conveniently nearby. I suppose this must be a historic district? It's flanked by lovely old Western-style villas on both sides, creating a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere.

The hotel boasts an innovative design, and the rooms are both comfortable and elegantly furnished. It's surrounded by a rich cultural and historical atmosphere, with notable sites like the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall and the Six Banyan Temple nearby. The street itself also features many cultural points of interest. However, I'd suggest installing some safety features on the steps within the room, as it's quite easy to misstep. Despite this minor point, overall I was very satisfied. 😎

Upon entering the room, the warm yellow lighting immediately creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The guesthouse perfectly blends vintage villa charm with modern design. The bed was super soft and comfy, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. The large windows are fantastic; sunlight streams in during the day, revealing lush green trees outside, making you feel immersed in nature. At night, drawing the caramel-colored curtains transforms the room into a tranquil oasis. The room's decor is incredibly detailed, with stylish green plants and artwork. Even the amenities are refined, making for an exceptionally comfortable stay! The location is also super convenient for exploring, dining, and sightseeing. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit. Undoubtedly a five-star rating! I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a stylish and charming guesthouse.

View is superb, close to alot of hipster cafes. Room is clean and aesthetic. Breakfast is cute as well.

I stayed at your guesthouse for a business trip, and the overall experience truly exceeded my expectations! The location is absolutely fantastic, conveniently close to both the business district and major transport links, which saved me a lot of commuting time. The front desk service was professional and efficient, and both check-in and check-out processes were seamless. All the staff were incredibly friendly, and I was particularly impressed by the room's thoughtful decor. My stay this time was unfortunately short, but I'll certainly be back on my next visit.

The moment I stepped into the room, I was truly blown away by its authentic Italian charm! The elegant color scheme, arched doorways, and vintage furnishings instantly transported me to a Tuscan estate; every photo I took felt cinematic. The host’s taste is impeccable! With art pieces adorning the walls, every corner exuded an effortlessly elegant, Italian 'la dolce vita' vibe, making me feel like a true resident. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and check-in was a breeze. The guesthouse enjoys an excellent location, conveniently close to all major attractions in Guangzhou, with an abundance of fantastic dining options right at its doorstep!

Very good experience. The building and interior is well renovated and decorated. Great communication from the staff and friendly help provided. The only ‘negative’ is there is no lift in this building. But they will offer to bring your luggage up for you. The location is great if you are into local community culture as its located in a neighbourhood area.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this small, characterful hotel tucked away amid a cluster of pedestrian streets in the old part of Guangzhou. Our room was comfortable and bright, and the staff prepare a nice breakfast in the spacious ground floor common area. Would definitely go back.

Nice hotel and good location. All food and coffee cafe around. Hotel has the best coffee. 

Great place! Great room with Memphis details. I had problems the first day regarding the cleaning of the room (it hadn’t been made up) but it was ok the second day.
