Highfields Motel Toowoomba

"We stayed here one night during the carnival of flowers and it suited us well for the night. Highfields is not far north of Toowoomba and this motel seems quite new and modern. Our small budget room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely shower (good heat and pressure). Good location to some great country cafes and craft shops (The Village Green is lovely across the road and worth a visit.) I booked through Wot-if and this unfortunately caused a bit of head scratching and trouble at check in and check out. Sorted though with no dramas. The fellow who checked us in though did not instill a lot of confidence by remarking more than once that we were in the "budget room" as if we had booked a dud, was far from it actually, and the price we paid through Wot-if was very good for the condition of the room. We had dinner in the restaurant and this was excellent, very good quality and reasonably priced within market rates. Overall a good experience."

"The motel has recently introduced a select Chinese takeaway menu. Tonight, we opted for Sweet & Sour Pork, Honey Chicken, Fried Rice, Steamed Dim Sims, and Spring Rolls. We were thoroughly satisfied with our meal, particularly the Steamed Dim Sims. The service was prompt, the food was outstanding, and the portion sizes were generous—what we ordered for two could easily have served four. We're definitely planning to order takeaway from here again soon."
