Heathcote Inn
8.0 (66 reviews)

Heathcote Inn ★★★★

📍 9 Hunter Pl, Heathcote

"We love this place! Always so clean and comfortable. We have stayed here on a few occasions when we race at Heathcote and will be back in the future. Checking in is so simple and Tina always goes the extra mile to make sure everything is just perfect."

Axedale Cabin Accommodation

Axedale Cabin Accommodation ★★★

📍 Lot 5 Lynch Ln, Axedale

"I would say 3.5, but it’s not a choice. We stayed 2 nights in one of the cabins (disabled access cabin 5) the bed was very comfortable, a king that can be split. The shower was excellent. The room had nowhere but the floor to put luggage so it made it feel quite cramped. Being a disabled room nowhere to put toiletry bags but the floor, but that was ok. The view and surrounding countryside is pretty with roos and stars. We had a fire one night and cooked a simple dinner in the communal kitchen. Axedale Tavern was good for dinner too. We had good massages on arrival but the massage room was too big to heat well enough. I’d suggest the practitioner to set up a table in one of the cabins and warm that first. We used the hot tub after massage- lovely but again not hot enough. The cabins desperately need ventilation for winter as the windows and the tile floor became very damp with condensation. For a pair who normally go camping this was a nice winter break. We rode to Bendigo and back on the O’Keefe rail trail. With the communal kitchen and lounge it would be a nice place for a small group to stay, but if using the kitchen I’d say keep it very simple as the kitchen is quite poorly designed for for more than 2 people at a time. PS. The room photo is not the cabin but a room off the lounge"

Heathcote Inn ★★★★
"The Inn was basic but we have absolutely no complaints. After a big day out we enjoyed a bottle of wine by the pool. There are several breakout areas. The room and en suite were particularly clean. Contactless check-in and out worked perfectly. The location is within walking distance of hotels and the Palling Brewery where you can pick up a cheap and cheerful meal."

"Very cute and very mini small cabin. Two people live just right. The bathroom is also relatively small. The air conditioner inside is very warm. Not far from the center of Bendigo."

Big4 Tasman Holiday Parks - Bendigo ★★★
"The first time I stayed in the campervan accommodation, the style of the room was unified, even the colors such as ornaments were super cute. Fully equipped and can cook, you don't have to go to the restaurant area outside the room to cook. I was worried that the hot water for the bath may not be enough, but I don't have to worry about the water volume. The hot water is very warm. The only fly in the ointment is that there is no hair dryer in the room ⋯"
