It was already evening when I arrived at the airport, so I chose a cheap hotel that I could stay in and was close to the airport. I could sleep and take a shower, but there was nothing else to ask for. There was a place selling fudou at the corner of the intersection. You could go there for breakfast. The boss is nice and the location is good.

Located in District 5 of Ho Chi Minh City, it is about 15 minutes by taxi from the tourist spots in District 1 where many travelers enjoy. The bed was clean and was thoroughly cleaned after daily cleaning. The shower had hot water and the water volume was satisfactory. I was glad that there were sandals for the water, but it was a little inconvenient that there was no refrigerator. The amenities were minimal, with a toothbrush, hairbrush, shampoo, and soap, but I don't think I needed anything more for a solo male traveler. The room can be double-locked, but don't expect soundproofing. The Wi-Fi was not extremely slow and was sufficient for everyday use (watching YouTube on a smartphone). The disadvantages of the location are that there are not many restaurants open late around, and when you return late at night after visiting famous tourist spots in District 1, the shutters are closed and you have to call to have them open to enter the hotel. I chose this accommodation, which is a little far away, and enjoyed the market in District 5, which has a stronger local feel, so I am generally satisfied.
