I am with my daugther but they gave a room in 17th floor i was booked in 10 floor and the man in receptionist was rude

What you pay, that's what you get. You pay penny for something, you'll get similar like pennies. You pay more, you'll get better place. This place is ok for that money. Not bad, not excellent either. It's city center, close to many attractions and close to main transport also. Nothing much to say.

Who's been there knows. Don't expect top-tier from this place. I got lucky — a fairly new room. Hair in the bed, but otherwise fine.

Dont have any amenities like towels, and other toiletries. Bedsheets have some stain, I didnt use it. And the lady in the lobby is not accommodating as she should.

I knew Chunking Mansions from years ago so I was aware about the downstairs and the lifts, I also knew that the room would be tiny.  None of that was a surprise but CM is not for the faint heated and can feel intimidating, especially if you are a lone female.   Paris Guest house is one of several names with various rooms in different blocks.  I’m sure the photos are of some of the rooms they rent but likely not the one you are given.  I was given a room in C block, it was indeed tiny but that was not my problem with it.  To be honest it was quite clean even if it felt dirty however the mattress was disguising if you lifted the sheet.  It wouldn’t be hard for them to put a mattress cover on but they don’t seem to care enough for that.  It is non refundable for a reason!  I had asked for a window and it did have 2 windows but the neighbours are so close you want to keep the curtains closed, net curtains would help.   My main problems were cockroaches, more than one, even though I didn’t bring any food into the room at all and put citronella oil all over the place.  I didn’t want to put my bag on the floor not least because the bathroom leaked. It’s cheap and I don’t expect much but properly clean  and not feeling totally ripped off by their attitude would help a lot, not a common thing with Sikhs ( who run the place ) who generally have a more giving spirit.  SO WARNINGS Chunking is particular, a good location but!!! D lift and C lift are fairly OK but if they try and give you anything in A or B refuse. You will probably see cockroaches. THEY WILL DEMAND A CASH 'SERVICE' FEE WHEN YOU BOOK IN., I don’t know what they consider service to be, I think it is an extra cash tax dodge  I was told it was for toiletries, there was some hand soap, no towel, as stated but it wouldn’t kill them to provide one, or at least offer to rent you one when you book in.  You also need cash as a key deposit. I cut my losses and ran because the room was just too depressing and I kept everything shut and couldn’t sleep well because of the bugs. I would advise not to stay here.  Hong Kong is very expensive so keep your visit as short as possible and spend a bit more for a better place.

Hands down, the best place to stay in Hong Kong. Stayed at this hostel for over two weeks, in a couple of different rooms, and I was consistently impressed by how well the entire establishment is maintained. The overall upkeep and cleanliness are truly top-notch! I was there even during a very busy Chinese holiday, and the entire staff was exceptional—managing the rush with efficiency and a helpful attitude. A special mention must go to Sheri at the reception. Her dedication to guest satisfaction is remarkable; if you need assistance, she is the person to see. She has a wonderful talent for streamlining your stay and ensuring everything runs smoothly. I must add that my name is difficult for most to pronounce and despite the number of quests accomondated through the hostel she made sure to pronounce it correctly and remembered my name.  A true highlight of her remarkable and impeccable service! The staff also deserves praise for being just as helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with room checks or directions, no matter the hour! The rooms are well-equipped and spotless. I’ve included some pictures that show the overall cleanliness. My room came with two comfortable beds, clean sheets and towels, a fridge, and all the necessary toiletries - a fantastic experience overall!

The Filipina Receptionist is very Kind and Always Smiling.. very approciable.. I Can recommend this Hotel.. The room is clean .

Location was great, but service wasn’t Good

This is the worst hotel ever in my life, before that I booked the same hotel under a different name, I didn’t expect it to be the same, be afraid of Philippines , she sits at the reception, she’s inadequate, I’m really afraid of her, the second Philippines , who cleans the rooms, if she liked something, she can appropriate it for herself, in my case, she liked my glasses, guys, don’t look at the price, it’s better to add $10-20 and take better than this one. Everything could be tolerated the smell inside, the air conditioner that doesn’t let you sleep works like a tractor, well, their attitude and respect for you is zero, they behave like they are the master of Hong Kong, like if you respect yourself, it’s not your option!

Dhillon is probably one of the best guesthouses you could ever stay in Chungking Mansion. Rooms are great, acceptable in terms of HK standard, and one cannot beat its prices. 5 days stay is cheaper than a 1 night stay in a known hotel. The lady manager was indeed very helpful, she helped me changed my room due to aircon issues even if its late at night. Sherie, the girl at the reception is also kind, very communicative and addresses problems quickly.

the room is clean when i arrived, i had a hassle free check in and it was on time... had a good experience in staying... its good for its price

They are the best and good people always. They even upgraded me to good room better than the one i booked earlier. I really coming to this hostel. Thank you so much for the goodness😊🙏🏾
