Unfortunately, I always seem to get insect bites whenever I stay at this hotel, and this visit was no exception. The newer hotel tower offers genuinely beautiful and pleasant views. Check-out is half an hour earlier than standard. Citing their policy of not providing single-use plastic-packaged amenities, they don't offer a shower cap or toothbrush (though slippers are available). Bottled water also isn't provided and must be purchased. Overall, I'd say just try to enjoy your stay and don't pay too much attention to the staff's attitude. Given the value for money, it's still somewhat worthwhile!

Exceeded All Expectations - A Flawless Hotel Experience We just concluded a perfect stay and couldn't be happier. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the lovely fragrance throughout the hotel—a small detail that makes a big difference. Our room was surprisingly spacious for Hong Kong, and most importantly, it was impeccably clean. The breakfast offered a great variety and was delicious every morning. A real highlight was the swimming pool; it was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the city. To top it all off, the staff kindly accommodated us with a late checkout, which made our departure day so much more relaxed. We cannot fault a single thing and will definitely be returning!

The weather in Hong Kong from September 4th to 6th was absolutely perfect, really enhancing our sea-view room experience. I felt incredibly blissful just lying on the hotel sofa in the afternoon, gazing at the sea and daydreaming. The hotel is conveniently located right by two ferry piers, making it super easy to get to North Point and Central. Our room was very well-equipped (a water dispenser was a fantastic touch, so no worries about not having water in the morning!). The service was excellent; as our room wasn't ready punctually upon check-in, they kindly offered us a complimentary breakfast for a day. And a special shout-out to the breakfast – it was incredibly diverse and plentiful, featuring Japanese, Cantonese, and Middle Eastern cuisines. All in all, it offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth choosing! 👍

I recently spent three nights at Dorsett Kai Tak during a quick business trip mixed with some sightseeing, and it exceeded my expectations for a brand-new property in this up-and-coming neighborhood. The hotel's location in Kai Tak is spot-on—right next to the future sports park (perfect for event-goers) and just a short, complimentary shuttle ride away from AIRSIDE mall, which has fantastic shopping and dining options. It's about 20 minutes from Central by MTR, making it easy to hop around the city without the Tsim Sha Tsui crowds.Check-in was seamless, with friendly staff (shoutout to Gladys at the front desk for her quick tips on local spots). My room was modern and spotless, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning partial harbour views—woke up to the sunrise over Victoria Harbour every morning. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and amenities like the rain shower, Nespresso machine, and smart controls for lights/AC added that luxe touch without feeling over-the-top. Soundproofing was excellent; I didn't hear a peep from the hallway or nearby construction. The rooftop infinity pool is a highlight—serene with lounge chairs and those epic skyline views, though it was a bit chilly in October for a full swim. I loved the all-day restaurant Siete Ocho; the fusion Spanish-Sichuan dishes (try the spicy prawns) were flavorful and reasonably priced. The fitness center is compact but well-equipped, and the shuttle service ran like clockwork.A minor gripe: During peak event times nearby, traffic can snarl up the area, but the hotel's proactive updates via app helped. Overall, for the value (especially with the Genius discount), this is a fresh, vibrant spot that captures Kai Tak's rebirth as Hong Kong's cool new hub. I'd return in a heartbeat—highly recommend for modern comfort with a side of urban energy!

ICLUB was such a wonderful surprise for budget accommodation in HK. Location is super convenient and the hotel itself boasts excellent service comfortable and functional rooms and a 2nd floor smoke free complementary coffee and snack bar that's a wonderful place to start and finish your day. Everything was beyond expectation. Will book again next time I visit. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

#positive #I was happy with the Toiletries, Mosquito Control Measures, Natural Light in the Room, Soundproofing, Room Size, Convenience of Transport; 3 bedrooms and 1 living room. There is no problem for our group of 8 people to live in. The house is clean and tidy~ The sparrow is small and has all internal organs. It can be used for simple cooking, which is very convenient Highly recommended, the host is also very enthusiastic and responds quickly. The location is very good, there are many places to eat nearby, it is convenient to travel, and I will stay here again next time

First of all, it is very close to the station and the airport bus stop. There are various facilities such as convenience stores, McDonald's, parks and shopping malls nearby. After 10 pm, a self-check-in guide text will come. Although Trip.com customer center does not have any help or active attitude, you can rest assured. The staff is not guided at the time, so you have to contact me separately. Towels are not free, they are borrowed. The place is a bit small and narrow because it is Hong Kong. It seems that people who are not guests stay at night, and there is a stolen warning print in front of the door, but I think you have to pay attention to security. And suddenly, I couldn't sleep comfortably because of the person who knocked on the room at 3 a.m. Because it's a hotel, I have to share the room. Although I have the inconvenience of having to share the room, I have the smell of hair dryer and burning in the early morning in the room. Because of the ironing people, I feel very inconvenient, but this is because of the dormitory It's hard to do and there are unmannered guests ...

The room was good enough to stay for a night for one person. If two people stay in the room, it might feel little tight, but good enough for this price in Hong Kong. But unfortunately the sound proof system is poor, you can hear the cars going around outside the window :(

conveniently located about 5 mins walk to Ho Man Tin MTR. there are a number of nice food and cafes within walking distance. despite the hotel is surrounded with memorial services shops but it doesnt really bother me. hotel staff are very accommodating and friendly. room is small but furnished with necessary amenities (disposable towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shower gel, shampoo, mini fridge, hair dryer and safe) so wouldnt advise to stay here if you have big luggages. a lil disappointed that they dont provide iron but it’s okay :)

Where to Stay in Hong Kong

  • Tsim Sha Tsui: Tsim Sha Tsui, located at the southern tip of the Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong, is one of the most representative and bustling areas in the city. It boasts a rich historical background and a modern appearance, and is renowned for its busy commercial district and multicultural characteristics. It features luxury shopping centers, internationally renowned hotels and high-rise buildings. At the same time, it retains historical traces, with many ancient buildings and museums. Showcase Hong Kong's culture and history. And don't forget to take a stroll along the Victoria Harbour at night and enjoy the breathtaking night view of Harbour City!
  • Sham Shui Po: Neon-lit electronics graveyards hide 80HKD(≈15.6 AUD) coffin hostel beds above secret hipster cafes. Steps from the cyberpunk Apliu Street flea market (protip: hunt for retro cameras at 7am before tech geeks swarm). Hong Kong’s Khao San Road—backpackers slurp $18 fishball noodles under dystopian signage, but post-11pm, it morphs into a Blade Runner set.
  • Central & Lan Kwai Fong: By day, finance bros sprint through IFC Mall; by night, Champagne soaks historic cobblestones. Gay bars hide behind Hollywood Road graffiti, with designer hotels (1200−3000+HKD≈235-587 AUD) along the Mid-Levels Escalator. Live for 3am chilli crab with baijiu shots? This is your neon-drenched playground—but avoid NYE: LKF becomes a champagne-supernova warzone where stilettos jam in storm drains.

Top Things to Do in Hong Kong

  • Victoria Peak Tram: To reach the summit of Victoria Peak, taking one of the world's oldest and most renowned Peak Trams is definitely an unforgettable experience! The entire railway is pulled by steel cables. The train climbs up the slope from an altitude of 28 meters to 396 meters (about 1,300 feet), and passengers can overlook the Victoria Harbour along the way. The tall buildings and thick bushes all seem to have fallen to one side. It's truly a wonderful feeling!
  • Temple Street Night Market: Temple Street Night Market, is a night market in Hong Kong that is full of authentic flavors. It is famous for its unique market atmosphere, a wide variety of goods and street snacks. To fully experience the charm of the Temple Street Night Market, it is recommended to visit after 8 p.m. At that time, the stalls are most complete and the atmosphere is the liveliest.
  • Chi Lin Nunnery at Sunset: Chi Lin Nunnery is a Buddhist temple located on Diamond Hill in Hong Kong, renowned for its unique Tang-style architecture and exquisite garden landscapes. It is recommended that tourists exit from Exit C2 of Diamond Hill MTR Station and follow the signs. Before entering the temple, one will first pass through the mountain gate and then reach the first courtyard, which features a lotus pond, rockeries and bonsai. Keep going and you will see the Heavenly Kings Hall, where there are Buddha statues and four statues of the Heavenly Kings.

GGuest UserI think the owner was a female, very responsive, if you have question they answer right away thru whatsapp. The room is small but it's generally clean, it comes with towels and toiletries. They also give you complimentary water bottles. And the thing i love the most is that it's near everywhere in TST. We booked 3 rooms and 2 of them has windows. I swear it's very clean and more than decent. And given it's convenient location, the price is really affordable. 5-star for me and my family.

XXiaojianA hotel with a very good value for money (after all, it is in Hong Kong, where every inch of land is worth a lot of money). It is very close to the Mong Kok subway station. It is not difficult to find it if you follow the navigation. It is inside the Ronghua Building. It is easy to find it by following the instructions. Facilities: The size of the room is very suitable according to my budget and the prices in Hong Kong, and it is almost the same as expected. The equipment is quite complete, with a separate bathroom (for a room of this price, and in Mong Kok, Hong Kong, where every inch of land is worth a lot of money, I can only say that I am very satisfied) Hygiene: Clean and comfortable. Anyway, according to my budget, I personally think it is reasonable Environment: It is quite quiet. In a busy city like Mong Kok, it will not be affected by the streets at all. Service: Polite and careful. When taking me to the booked room, they will carefully tell me some things to pay attention to. In general, when traveling out, according to your own budget and the prices of tourist destinations, etc., the value for money is super high!

GGuest UserThe proprietress knows how to do business and is very friendly in Mandarin. The Indonesian girl looking after the store will call you and ask you to speak Mandarin with the proprietress. It feels safe like opening the door to stay. A room with a window and a toilet near a bustling area is already very cost-effective. The rooms in Hong Kong are small in size. If you want a room with a larger area, please pay more and look elsewhere.

EEm KeiThe location of the hotel is great for exploring Kowloon it is very close to the metro station and there are shops and restaurants near by. The staff are very helpful and nice. The hotel facilities are not very modern and because of the humidity in HK it smells a bit like humidity rather than that it is convenient for resting and exploring. One can out of curiosity walk down West Kowloon in a leisurely way all the way to Star Ferry ( 45 minutes). The iconic Temple Street is also very near. Some guest rooms have toilets for users of wheelchairs and this is a sure plus. Just so you know!!
