The hotel room is spacious, with central air conditioning where the vent doesn't blow directly onto the bed, which is great. Hot water is good, and coffee and tea bags are provided. The environment is quiet, and there are many restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. This time, after arriving in Hong Kong, I had to run some errands first, so I asked a friend to drop off my luggage at the hotel in advance, and I picked it up when I checked in at night. The hotel concierge staff were very enthusiastic and attentive. The hotel offers great value for money; this is already my second stay this year. Five-star rating, highly recommended.

ICLUB was such a wonderful surprise for budget accommodation in HK. Location is super convenient and the hotel itself boasts excellent service comfortable and functional rooms and a 2nd floor smoke free complementary coffee and snack bar that's a wonderful place to start and finish your day. Everything was beyond expectation. Will book again next time I visit. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

For Hong Kong standards, the room was surprisingly good. It was a fantastic deal, costing just over 300 HKD during September's low season. During my four-day stay, getting around Hong Kong was incredibly convenient as it's located very close to both the MTR station and bus stops.

Exceeded All Expectations - A Flawless Hotel Experience We just concluded a perfect stay and couldn't be happier. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the lovely fragrance throughout the hotel—a small detail that makes a big difference. Our room was surprisingly spacious for Hong Kong, and most importantly, it was impeccably clean. The breakfast offered a great variety and was delicious every morning. A real highlight was the swimming pool; it was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the city. To top it all off, the staff kindly accommodated us with a late checkout, which made our departure day so much more relaxed. We cannot fault a single thing and will definitely be returning!

I recently spent three nights at Dorsett Kai Tak during a quick business trip mixed with some sightseeing, and it exceeded my expectations for a brand-new property in this up-and-coming neighborhood. The hotel's location in Kai Tak is spot-on—right next to the future sports park (perfect for event-goers) and just a short, complimentary shuttle ride away from AIRSIDE mall, which has fantastic shopping and dining options. It's about 20 minutes from Central by MTR, making it easy to hop around the city without the Tsim Sha Tsui crowds.Check-in was seamless, with friendly staff (shoutout to Gladys at the front desk for her quick tips on local spots). My room was modern and spotless, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning partial harbour views—woke up to the sunrise over Victoria Harbour every morning. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and amenities like the rain shower, Nespresso machine, and smart controls for lights/AC added that luxe touch without feeling over-the-top. Soundproofing was excellent; I didn't hear a peep from the hallway or nearby construction. The rooftop infinity pool is a highlight—serene with lounge chairs and those epic skyline views, though it was a bit chilly in October for a full swim. I loved the all-day restaurant Siete Ocho; the fusion Spanish-Sichuan dishes (try the spicy prawns) were flavorful and reasonably priced. The fitness center is compact but well-equipped, and the shuttle service ran like clockwork.A minor gripe: During peak event times nearby, traffic can snarl up the area, but the hotel's proactive updates via app helped. Overall, for the value (especially with the Genius discount), this is a fresh, vibrant spot that captures Kai Tak's rebirth as Hong Kong's cool new hub. I'd return in a heartbeat—highly recommend for modern comfort with a side of urban energy!

- Excellent location, on Nathan Road, next to Yau Ma Tei MTR station, near Temple Street, you can walk to Tsim Sha Tsui or take the metro (2 stops). - There is security at the entrance of the building. - Very clean and cleaning ladies pass daily (unless you do not want them to). - Small, but functional. You have hot water for shower, Internet and water boiler, as well as enough place to open your luggage. - Guests having a smartphone with WhatsApp or WeChat might be useful to communicate with the hotel. - Overall really good value for the price.

The room was quite small, and the bed was only 1.2 meters wide. The bathroom was tiny, barely enough space for a larger person to turn around. The hotel's location is good, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. What I was most dissatisfied with was the front desk service; they were a bit arrogant. They also demanded a deposit, and since I didn't bring any Hong Kong dollars for my trip, I was forced to go to the bank and withdraw HKD 500, incurring a HKD 17 service fee. With service like that, I have to give a bad review.

The proprietress knows how to do business and is very friendly in Mandarin. The Indonesian girl looking after the store will call you and ask you to speak Mandarin with the proprietress. It feels safe like opening the door to stay. A room with a window and a toilet near a bustling area is already very cost-effective. The rooms in Hong Kong are small in size. If you want a room with a larger area, please pay more and look elsewhere.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic, very convenient for transport, and close to a market. It's just a 4 to 6-minute walk from Ho Man Tin MTR station, without even needing to cross the road. Both the front desk staff and the cleaning team were wonderful. The check-in process was very quick. The soundproofing was also excellent. Since there were no single rooms available when I checked in, I received a complimentary upgrade to a double room. I was really lucky and truly appreciate the arrangement. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm in Hung Hom for a show.

Where to Stay in Hong Kong

  • Tsim Sha Tsui: Tsim Sha Tsui, located at the southern tip of the Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong, is one of the most representative and bustling areas in the city. It boasts a rich historical background and a modern appearance, and is renowned for its busy commercial district and multicultural characteristics. It features luxury shopping centers, internationally renowned hotels and high-rise buildings. At the same time, it retains historical traces, with many ancient buildings and museums. Showcase Hong Kong's culture and history. And don't forget to take a stroll along the Victoria Harbour at night and enjoy the breathtaking night view of Harbour City!
  • Sham Shui Po: Neon-lit electronics graveyards hide 80HKD(≈15.6 AUD) coffin hostel beds above secret hipster cafes. Steps from the cyberpunk Apliu Street flea market (protip: hunt for retro cameras at 7am before tech geeks swarm). Hong Kong’s Khao San Road—backpackers slurp $18 fishball noodles under dystopian signage, but post-11pm, it morphs into a Blade Runner set.
  • Central & Lan Kwai Fong: By day, finance bros sprint through IFC Mall; by night, Champagne soaks historic cobblestones. Gay bars hide behind Hollywood Road graffiti, with designer hotels (1200−3000+HKD≈235-587 AUD) along the Mid-Levels Escalator. Live for 3am chilli crab with baijiu shots? This is your neon-drenched playground—but avoid NYE: LKF becomes a champagne-supernova warzone where stilettos jam in storm drains.

  • Victoria Peak Tram: To reach the summit of Victoria Peak, taking one of the world's oldest and most renowned Peak Trams is definitely an unforgettable experience! The entire railway is pulled by steel cables. The train climbs up the slope from an altitude of 28 meters to 396 meters (about 1,300 feet), and passengers can overlook the Victoria Harbour along the way. The tall buildings and thick bushes all seem to have fallen to one side. It's truly a wonderful feeling!
  • Temple Street Night Market: Temple Street Night Market, is a night market in Hong Kong that is full of authentic flavors. It is famous for its unique market atmosphere, a wide variety of goods and street snacks. To fully experience the charm of the Temple Street Night Market, it is recommended to visit after 8 p.m. At that time, the stalls are most complete and the atmosphere is the liveliest.
  • Chi Lin Nunnery at Sunset: Chi Lin Nunnery is a Buddhist temple located on Diamond Hill in Hong Kong, renowned for its unique Tang-style architecture and exquisite garden landscapes. It is recommended that tourists exit from Exit C2 of Diamond Hill MTR Station and follow the signs. Before entering the temple, one will first pass through the mountain gate and then reach the first courtyard, which features a lotus pond, rockeries and bonsai. Keep going and you will see the Heavenly Kings Hall, where there are Buddha statues and four statues of the Heavenly Kings.

Very Good
JJiangquancunGood Review: Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong (a Shangri-La Hotel) – A Double Delight of Luxurious Sea-View Accommodation and Delicious ”Omelette”! My stay at Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong (a Shangri-La Hotel) was filled with highlights, from the accommodation to the dining! Hong Kong is a city where every inch of land is precious, so being able to stay in such a spacious sea-view room for around 2500 HKD offered far better value for money than expected, clearly outshining accommodations at a similar price point in Shanghai. The hotel, part of the Shangri-La Group, maintained its consistently excellent quality. While enjoying breakfast at the restaurant, I had to communicate with the staff using broken English and Cantonese, as they weren't very familiar with Mandarin, but this didn't detract from the delicious food at all. A special mention goes to the ”Omelette” – a Western breakfast specialty in Hong Kong, made by pan-frying beaten eggs with various ingredients. The omelette we ordered was incredibly smooth and rich in egg flavor. Even though it took two or three attempts to get the order right, it was so delicious that it left a lasting impression, proving popular even among foreign guests. Strategically located in Hung Hom Bay, the hotel boasts convenient transportation and breathtaking sea views. Whether it was the comfortable accommodation, the exquisite dining, or the attentive service, everything contributed to making this trip to Hong Kong exceptionally fulfilling. It's truly a high-quality choice that I wholeheartedly recommend!

IInvisibleNobodyI booked a corner sea-view room on the top floor for my proposal. The location is good, and the wine-opening service was appreciated. However, the service was disappointing. The hotel doesn't provide free drinking water, and this wasn't explained at check-in. While we later understood this might be due to government policy, it's not something tourists would typically know. Getting this information involved being bounced between Housekeeping and the Front Desk, with a poor attitude from the staff. The room also lacked essentials, requiring multiple calls to Housekeeping. The service needs significant improvement.

GGuest UserI think the owner was a female, very responsive, if you have question they answer right away thru whatsapp. The room is small but it's generally clean, it comes with towels and toiletries. They also give you complimentary water bottles. And the thing i love the most is that it's near everywhere in TST. We booked 3 rooms and 2 of them has windows. I swear it's very clean and more than decent. And given it's convenient location, the price is really affordable. 5-star for me and my family.

BBeishanxiaofeiniaoI came to Hong Kong to visit friends over the weekend, and all the other hotels I found were around seven or eight hundred, which was way too expensive! I finally found a moderately priced hotel. What you see in the pictures is what you get. The room is a bit small, but that's normal in Hong Kong, haha. The main thing is that it's clean, and they clean it every day. The staff are also very nice, and it's convenient to just swipe your card to enter. The location is excellent, just a two-minute walk to Ho Man Tin station, and only two stops to Tsim Sha Tsui. If you turn right out of the hotel, there's a small alley on your right that leads directly to the MTR stairs, haha, super convenient! In summary, it's clean and comfortable, offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it! I'd probably stay here again if I come back.

XXiaojianA hotel with a very good value for money (after all, it is in Hong Kong, where every inch of land is worth a lot of money). It is very close to the Mong Kok subway station. It is not difficult to find it if you follow the navigation. It is inside the Ronghua Building. It is easy to find it by following the instructions. Facilities: The size of the room is very suitable according to my budget and the prices in Hong Kong, and it is almost the same as expected. The equipment is quite complete, with a separate bathroom (for a room of this price, and in Mong Kok, Hong Kong, where every inch of land is worth a lot of money, I can only say that I am very satisfied) Hygiene: Clean and comfortable. Anyway, according to my budget, I personally think it is reasonable Environment: It is quite quiet. In a busy city like Mong Kok, it will not be affected by the streets at all. Service: Polite and careful. When taking me to the booked room, they will carefully tell me some things to pay attention to. In general, when traveling out, according to your own budget and the prices of tourist destinations, etc., the value for money is super high!
