The hotel is surprisingly good, especially considering the remote location. The Mountain View room is actually better as the glacier has melted in late March.

This is the best hotel in the whole Iceland trip. Reception is super friendly and helpful. All corners are new and clean. Restaurant provides nice food at reasonable price. Free hot tub and sauna facing the glacier. I am just unlucky that the weather was so bad that I cannot really enjoy the view. Breakfast is a must add item as it is so worthwhile. It’s a perfect location if you visit the glacier tour or visit Jökulsárlón.

Opened just last May, this hotel is incredibly new and conveniently located very close to the meeting point for glacier hikes and blue ice cave tours. The rooms are spacious, and there's an outdoor hot spring and a sauna. The restaurant's tender lamb shank is definitely worth trying, and the breakfast spread is generous. It's highly recommended to stay here!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was nice and the hotel felt very new and cared for. Breakfast was delicious! I would stay here again if I am ever back in this region.

The hotel is very new and looks great. The hot tub is excellent. Unfortunately the breakfast is very expensive and taste average.
