SAU KWAN FLORENCE
Overall, there is an outdoor public hot spring pool, and the room has a private pool. Breakfast and dinner are available. Food is not a buffet, but the hotel provides it. Only when the meal is opened on the same day, you know what food is provided. The taste is OK.

Guest UserOur stay at Kirishima Onsen Ryokojin Sanso was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautifully situated on a hill and easily accessible by car. The spacious rooms and amazing onsen facilities were impressive, especially the private outdoor onsen in the forest, which we enjoyed in the evening when it was dark – a truly phenomenal experience.
The authentic food was another highlight, beautifully presented and truly delicious. We highly recommend Kirishima Onsen Ryokojin Sanso for anyone seeking a serene and authentic Japanese onsen experience.

Before making a reservation, I hesitated because of the lack of information, but after checking in, I was sure that it was the best choice. I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days.
Advantage 1. Private hot spring
I was happy because I could soak in the bathtub at any time. I stayed at a private hot spring ryokan in Yufuin, but that place had a structure where you couldn't see outside. You can see the river from the bathroom at Yuyuan. Plus, you can see Sakurajima!
Advantage 2. Cleanliness
Even if you walk barefoot, your soles are clean. There is no dust anywhere in the room. Even the outside of the window is clean.
Advantage 3. Spacious room
When I travel, I always choose a room that is at least 25 square meters. It's uncomfortable if it's small. The room I stayed in was 50 square meters. It was spacious for two people.
Advantage 4. Meals
I had seasonal dinners twice and breakfasts twice, and I ate at the restaurant on the second floor. It was very comfortable because it was a private room. The taste was also excellent. I was even more satisfied because the dishes were made with Kagoshima specialties.
Advantage 5. Friendly staff
I felt warm staying at a hotel with friendly staff. They were people I want to meet again!
The only downside.
I took the bus. It was a small bus, not a bus that puts your luggage in the luggage compartment, so I was confused. Of course, this is not a problem for those who take a taxi or rent a car. It is not a good location for those who want to be in a busy area. If you like to take a walk while enjoying the quiet and beautiful scenery, it would be an excellent choice. It was a happy time for me. I walked to Kagoshima Shrine. I gave carrots to a beautiful horse and prayed. Yuyu-an is the perfect place for healing^^

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in is an old hot spring hotel. It is said to have been passed down from generation to generation. The Japanese-style garden design is very beautiful. The Japanese-style room we booked was very spacious and included breakfast and dinner. The hotel has its own farm and ingredients. They are all sourced from their own farms, and Wagyu beef can be delivered all over Japan. The breakfast is very exquisite, and for dinner you can enjoy Kaiseki dishes such as Wagyu beef and lobster. The dining service in the room is very good, and you can also choose to eat in the restaurant. The hotel service is very good, providing daily pick-up and drop-off services to the airport, Hayato Station, and Kokubu Station. The hotel staff will proactively ask if you need to make a reservation for pick-up every day, and provide one-on-one pick-up with high-end vehicles. There is free freshly ground coffee in the lobby and free minibars in the rooms. There is a private bath in the room, which can be used indoors or outdoors. The free public bath has three outdoor hot spring pools and one large indoor hot spring pool. The hot spring water is so hot that you will sweat after soaking in it for a while. It is a rare carbonated spring in Japan. Opposite the hotel is a large supermarket with a variety of Kagoshima specialties and fresh ingredients, as well as a convenience store. There is a young lady who can speak Chinese. The whole experience was very good, will definitely come again!

The room is super big and very new. I know Japanese a little. The two responsible staff can be very friendly and detailed in Japanese to explain check-in, borrow family style, meal time and other details, and feel at home. The most worth mentioning is the food of one berth and two meals. From dinner to breakfast, you can eat the quality of the ingredients, the cooking heart, the portion is also satisfying, not too full and tired, everything is just right.

It was a single building. It was good that the whole was clean, the room was large, the heating was effective, and the kitchen equipment was all available.
However, tap water cannot be drunk. The bath in the room is prohibited. It was inconvenient that hot water did not come out.
Also, one of the window sash in the bedroom tatami room was not well set up and the key was not locked. In addition, I was honestly scared that there was no curtain in the kitchen and I could see it completely from the outside (mountain side) at night.
And Wi-Fi was not connected.
The hot springs are used by campsites and people who stop by, and are crowded depending on the time of day such as in the evening. The amount of hot water in the shower is small and it takes time to flush the bubbles.
The place from the accommodation to the hot spring is far away, and it is a steep slope, and the road is 々 hole, uneven, and bad scaffolding!
It was very inconvenient to move to the hot spring because I couldn't walk.
3 I thought that 6 1000 yen was a good deal for one person staying with a person, but I think it was a price.

Anonymous UserI stayed at the first night of my Kagoshima trip and used it for day trip hot springs and dinner on the last day.
Despite the reasonable price of less than 5,000 yen for a night stay, the hot springs are flowing from the source where you can enjoy looking at the river. The day trip hot spring is available for 300 yen, and shampoo, conditioner, body soap is also complete.
In addition, I was unintentionally relaxed in the healing space where dogs and cats welcomed me.
You can enjoy the dishes outdoors like a river floor, and of course you can enjoy the river from the room.
Arrived by late flight at night and check-in was around 22:00, but the envy of the red lantern that suddenly appeared in the mountains was like a Yuya of ”Spirited Away”, and it was exciting before entering the building.
The building has a modern atmosphere, and you can see the river from your room, and you can spend a luxurious time enjoying sake while watching the river flow.

The hotel is not big but very beautiful, the service is good, the food is very delicious, and the hot spring mineral content is high. Thank you to the restaurant staff for their patient and friendly Chinese, English and Japanese services, and thank you to the front desk lady for helping us contact the bus down the mountain on a snowy day. I want to come to this hotel again. Highly recommended.
