"We traveled from Da Nang to Hue for this stay. Since the hotel is newly opened, all the facilities, equipment, and decor felt brand new and pristine. Because we were on a tight two-day schedule, we utilised their luggage storage service. When we returned late around 9 PM, we were pleased to find they had already safely moved our bags into our room. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, especially the kind older gentleman. I really enjoyed the minimalist and earthy aesthetic of the room. However, there was a design flaw: one of the windows could not be fully closed. Unfortunately, this allowed mosquitoes and small bugs to enter the room at night. While the hotel does not provide breakfast, the location is excellent, making it easy to walk to nearby restaurants for meals."

"Approx 30 minutes in a taxi from the centre of Hue. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The standard of decor, fixtures and fittings was as per rating, poor. We chose the “ancient Hue” ocean view villa and based on our experience, we reckon that we paid twice as much as it should have rightly been. I got a minor electric shock unplugging one of the lights and noticed that the wire was loose. Most of the electric sockets in the room were faulty. The beds were very comfy and a highlight of the stay. The food in the restaurant was ok-ish but we were repeatedly served warm cans of beer with a bowl of ice to apparently scoop into the beer to cool it and water it down! I asked for cold beer but apparently not available. In summary, extremely expensive for what’s on offer. In the main, tired, peeling paint, potentially dangerous electrics and just too far off the beaten track, too expensive and too dated to merit a repeat stay."

"Our experience at the hotel was more than we possibly could have expected before coming. First of all, the territory surrounded by the beautiful rice paddies is something absolutely unique. Garden, pool, a small lake, an artificial waterfall, lots of colourful fishes - it’s was so enjoyable to take a rest closer to nature from the hustle and bustle of the city. The other thing is the people: the hotel staff is simply excellent. Everyone we interacted with was willing to help and do their best to make us feel comfortable. It's difficult to single out anyone, as a great vacation is a team effort. Many thanks for our wonderful vacation!"

"The street noise is very audible, the soundproofing is poor, making it hard to sleep. Plus, there's a church with a bell tower right nearby 😄. The floors had dirty streaks. Water from the shower leaked heavily into the rest of the bathroom. The air conditioning remote control was very bright at night, which also kept me from sleeping. The pool was decent, not many sun loungers but enough for us. There's a cozy garden next to the pool. I enjoyed the breakfast; there were many different options. And smoked fish 🔥! The design is beautiful, everything is new, and the staff is lovely. Upon our first check-in, the minibar was complimentary. Honestly, because of the 'light' on the wall and the noise in the room, I probably wouldn't stay at this hotel again."
