I had a really pleasant stay at Samann Host Hulhumale. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice view. It’s also in a convenient location, close to the airport and the beach. Overall, it felt warm and welcoming — a great place to stay in Hulhumale.

This is a transit hotel in Male. For Male standards, it's probably considered one of the better options, but honestly, the facilities are more akin to a 2-star hotel in China. The absolute highlight was the incredibly enthusiastic service! They truly made us feel at home, which is why we gladly left a tip. The breakfast was also very good! Since there were seven of us, we booked a one-way private transfer for $20.

We had a pleasant experience at Samann Host, Hulhumalé. We arrived early around 8:30 AM and were informed that check-in starts at 10:00 AM as per their policy. However, the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to safely leave our luggage with them while we explored the area. The hotel is quite compact, but it offers excellent service and quality. The room was modern, clean, and well-designed—though small, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They also provided a complimentary airport pickup and drop-off, which was really convenient. Since we had to leave early in the morning for our flight, they even prepared a packed breakfast for us—such a thoughtful touch! The hotel is just a short walk to the beach road, making it a great location as well. Overall, a simple but very well-managed hotel with warm service. Would definitely recommend it for a short stay near the airport!

This was my second stay here. The rooms are generally better than other local options and are quite clean, offering a decent, basic standard of accommodation. For breakfast, you can request to dine at the Ocean Grand's top-floor restaurant, which boasts sea views.

It seems many hotels on this street are quite generic, and this one is no exception. The ambiance was okay, and the service was very warm and friendly. However, don't come with high expectations; it's really just a place to sleep. The plumbing was a bit noisy at night. Complimentary airport transfer is provided.

The Male Transit Hotel appears to be one of the larger local chains. They have plenty of airport transfer vehicles, and their transfer service is excellent – convenient and efficient. The following day, they ensure a seamless handover to your resort island hotel staff. However, the hotel itself is situated on a narrow street, and the building is quite small. The room's cleanliness and overall condition were only average, and breakfast was rather unremarkable.

Verry good host

I did not like this hotel. I paid for a room with a view and what I got was an obstructed balcony with no window that was covered by a wood door. It felt like a windowless hotel room and the air conditioner didn't work so they had to move me to another hotel. This hotel is absolutely nothing special other than the fact that they kept my luggage when I was on a plane so that I wouldn't have to pay the overweight price. I would under no circumstances stay here again. I paid $30 for a windowless room and they ended up having to move me because the air conditioner absolutely did not function. They moved me to their sister hotel.

Very nice hotel with easy access from the airport. The hotel provided transfers complimentary to and from the airport and that was very handy.. staff is very friendly and I should mention Rohaan and Arjun that were good throughout the stay. I would stay here again without a doubt.
