"What a wonderful location for a girlfriend reunion! Very central to the towns we wanted to visit… Rockport and Newburyport! Thank you for allowing us to check in to the Staniford suite(in the Carriage apt) a couple of hours early. Desiree(housekeeping) was onsite and so welcoming! The upstairs suite is well-appointed with 2 bedrooms, comfortable beds and bedding, fully stocked kitchen(darling retro fridge) and sitting area. There are a few “kinks” that Alex and his team are diligently working on during renovations, but, overall the portable A/C units and fans kept the temps comfortable. Everyone here was so very pleasant! The Cafe’ is separately operated, but equally wonderful(and reasonably priced). Would definitely come back and wish the new owners much success!"

"When it was time for us to turn in we realized that there weren’t any sheets for the pullout sofa. I texted the “24/7 support” number (and called too but got voicemail). Forty-five minutes later I got a text telling me “I completely understand how important this is and how frustrating it must be. I've checked in with the team, and unfortunately, we aren't able to provide any extra sheets tonight.” Hard to understand why something as simple as a missing set of sheets couldn’t be remedied quickly. So don’t rely on the inn’s claim that “If you need in person assistance we'll always be able to dispatch a member of our housekeeping team.”"
