View is in front of residence and people can see you. Because the glass of the balcony is transparent . "I travel to Israel somewhat often and am used to the different standards that different countries have in many ways. This was my first time at a brown hotel. Their website clearly specified a number of services available at the hotel. Unfortunately it’s a bait and switch. They supposedly offer a breakfast each morning but halfway through my stay it was decided to discontinue food service entirely. No one tells you this in advance in any way. Next after a few days into a multi week stay I try to find the laundry bag that is supposed to be in the room. No bag but also not a big deal. Also no laundry service as advertised just a machine in the basement. Also not the end of the world so I do my own. A week later I go back to do another load and the machine is gone entirely. The front desk staff says the owners decided not to have laundry any more. No notice, in room literature still says laundry, web site still say laundry. I ask where a laundromat is located and no one knows. The staff are very nice and friendly. Management leaves lots to be desired. Oh yeah, the rooms are teeny tiny too."

"The hotel is small, but very convenient both in location and in terms of accommodations. It's four stops from Jerusalem Train Station on bus #18. The Old City is a 7-10-minute walk away, and Jaffa Street with its cafes and shops is a minute away. The rooms are small, and some even offer capsules, but we had a triple room with a bunk bed. The downstairs bed wasn't really a bed—it was a fold-out sofa that had seen better days. In front of it was a large TV with YouTube. We watched it lying down, without folding the sofa, because we were afraid we wouldn't be able to unfold it for sleeping. Since the hotel is located in the basement, our window was small and dirty, purely for ventilation. The room has air conditioning, a small refrigerator, a fan, a TV, another sofa, a low table, a bathroom with a shower, and several lighting options. Water from the shower leaks heavily onto the bathroom floor, so be careful! There's no closet, just a coat rack, so it's difficult to organize your things, but we managed. The hotel has a kitchen with a microwave, stove, hot and cold water dispenser, tables, and chairs—a bit cramped, but comfortable. There's a gym downstairs. There's also a small outdoor area with tables and chairs. It's cozy, with lots of modern art. Towels are exchanged upon request. Recommended for travelers who prefer the outdoors to the inside."

"The location is great inside the old city and view from the top of the hotel are lovely. Free tea or coffee self service available in lounge but no fresh milk but powder alternative. However this is the only positive thing I can write about this hotel after stay here for 2 Night. What do you want from hotels comfortable bed, clean rooms, quiet corridors, a reliable WIFI connection, and other complimentary toiletries? Well you will not get that here. Noise all through out the night and day. You can hear conversation, phones ringing, people running up the stairs and opening/ closing of front door. This places has no soundproofing. Which means you hear everything in the hotel. This resulting in us having everything difficulty falling asleep. The room was not a clean standard and when staff come into clean like which is expected but only cleaning half the room and not locking the room back up. There are no safes in your room so you have to keep everything on you. Also every time I was near or on bed I was continuously feeling itchy. The bed is rock hard with one pillow. They have 2 different WiFi but both however are poor. Always cutting out or unable to connect. Even when connect ever slow. For non-Muslim guests, this means that unmarried couples have to sleep in separate rooms. Which I can respect. The staff were not helpful and come across as rude. Clear preference for cash, which was shown as multiple people were sent to the ATM because of "issues with the credit card". Worst place I have ever stayed, can't recommend. "

"Good location, just a few minutes walk to The Old City and main commercial streets. Beautifully renovated villa with charming front garden where one can enjoy breakfast or a drink in the evening. Nicely decorated throughout. Easy check in, they let me into my room early, which was very appreciated. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room on The small side but comfortable enough for 2 people (a bit tight but manageable). Mattress was a bit hard and pillows too soft. AC works well but it takes time to cool room. Windows open, allowing some nice fresh air in. Quiet overall, but I had a room in the back of the building. Busy front street so I imagine those rooms may not be so quiet. Two free bottles of water in the room every day and some dry fruit was available in the room on arrival. However, after eating the fruit, I had some "intestinal issues" so I'm wondering now how long they'd been sitting there in the open. I'm a seasoned traveler and careful about what I eat so I rarely get sick. The fruit were the only thing I could think that could have caused my issues. Robes, slippers, minibar, free wifi (slow at times), available in the room. TV channels go off the air quite often, very annoying. Technician came over to see it but didn't know what was going on. Reception said they called me a few times, including 3 wake up calls at 3:30 am but I never heard them. Sounds like the phone was not working well either. Bathroom was small but had ok toiletries, nice shower, nice towels. Water was very hot both in the sink and shower. Shower Water sipped through the glass stall onto the bath floor but staff came to fix it promptly when I reported it. Breakfast was great and very worth it; delicious generous portions of different local foods. Bar was small but had a nice happy hour. The hotel also had a spa but I did not use it. They book a taxi to take me back to the airport st 4am - driver was there promptly. I've been to Jerusalem many times and this has been by far my favorite hotel. Will definitely return and recommend."

"This B&B was perfect for our needs. Cozy and clean, we had everything we could ask for, including a delightful family run hotel. Breakfast was perfect, it's in a great location, we were thrilled. Only thing to note, it does have a handful of stairs coming from the street and again to the rooms (maybe five or six). Not a big deal, except my suitcase was heavy."

Arthur Hotel - an Atlas Boutique Hotel

"It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Old City of Jerusalem, and one tram stop away. If you take the train from the airport, get off the train and transfer to the tram, and walk for 5 minutes. Don't take a taxi. The hotel staff is very helpful. The breakfast and happy hour are very rich. There are free bicycles for guests to use. It is in a very busy area. It was very lively during Sukko, and I went downstairs to experience the happy Feast of Tabernacles. I stayed in this hotel for ten days and it was a very good experience."
