Plus, there's ample free underground parking, so no stress if you're driving. The lobby blends Wuyi Diaolou architecture with Lingnan garden design, creating a sophisticated and upscale ambiance that really sets the mood. I was upgraded to a high-floor lake-view room, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an incredible view of the lake – I even got to see the musical fountain in the evening! The room itself was spacious, with excellent soundproofing, a soft mattress, and a wet/dry separated bathroom featuring a large bathtub. The toiletries were high-quality. It also had a comfortable desk and multi-port charging outlets, which was a huge plus for business travel. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, with authentic Cantonese rice rolls, freshly made noodles, shrimp dumplings, and siu mai, balancing both Chinese and Western options. The morning tea at the Yu Gong Guan Chinese restaurant was also very authentic. The indoor heated pool with its glass ceiling was perfect for photos, and the 24-hour gym had all the equipment you'd need – great for unwinding after work. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were polite and attentive, responding quickly to any requests. Housekeeping was thorough and clean. The Crown breakfast and late check-out service were very thoughtful, making it easy to manage my schedule without rushing. Whether for business or a short leisure trip, this hotel is ideal. "Honestly, I have no idea how this hotel got a 4.8 rating on Ctrip. Based on the major flaw mentioned in point 1 alone, it shouldn't even be above 4.5. And calling it the #1 high-end hotel in Jiangmen is a complete joke; even the AI summary didn't mention anything about the educational institution… 1️⃣ Do NOT stay here on weekends. The learning center on the second floor makes guests incredibly agitated. The hotel lobby is swarming with students – waiting, being picked up/dropped off – and the elevators are packed with them too. Parents going to the parking lot, coming in and out of the hotel… it felt more like the entrance to a tutoring center. The hotel front desk is already tiny, similar to a budget hotel, leaving guests feeling helpless. Even the so-called 'hotel-only' elevator still stops on the second floor for the learning center, and cars belonging to parents picking up their kids completely monopolize the hotel entrance. This is the first time I've stayed in a hotel, especially one marketed as 'comfortable,' that had a learning institution causing such severe disruption without any crowd control measures. 2️⃣ Breakfast was good, and the aunties (staff) and front desk personnel provided excellent service. 3️⃣ The room was clean and comfortable, though the pillows were a bit too high. Water pressure was good. 4️⃣ Parking was relatively convenient, and it was easy to get to various attractions and find takeout nearby. In summary, for those not staying on a weekend, or for guests with lower expectations, you'll need to weigh your options. For those who travel frequently and value their experience, I'd advise extreme caution before choosing this place."
