Très bon hôtel avec une belle piscine et jacuzzi

The hotel does not deserve category 4 * (I do not even think it deserves category 3 *). It is one of the worst hotels where I have stayed. It is neglected, it has no maintenance. The air conditioning does not work properly in the room and it is hot. Announces a gym that is not a real gym: the same room is shared by bicycles, and separated by a simple screen, tables and chairs for a business meeting ... there is no wardrobe, not a wc, nor a shower, no towels ... nothing.

Tired, older hotel with a recent paint job, well located beside the motorways on the outskirts of Tours. Supposed to be air conditioned but it turns out it is only switched on June to September. Very heat without it. Restaurant service highly variable depending on staff on duty. Food is standard Accor menu, very light on anything vegetable. Car park fine. Good enough for an overnight stay.

Conveniently located close to the A10 motorway this quiet and well looked after hotel has been often our go to for sleepovers. Kind and efficient reception and restaurant staff, good quality / value meals, quick service and newly renovated and quiet rooms. Only four stars as our bikes were stolen from our car rack.

Heading back to the ferry ports from the South West coast we decided to try the Mercure in Tours Sud. It is well located for road access and sits close a large lake with nice walks in nearby woods. The hotel itself was welcoming with a large car park, spacious rooms, a great breakfast (that included sausage, scrambled egg and bacon), and a nice pool and hammam area. No complaints at all.

The hotel is clean and the staff are polite. We were a little disappointed with the menu as in previous years there has been more choice and the food more interesting. The area is calm and it is a lovely place to go for a walk before continuing our journey. We requested extra pillows when we booked the room but this wasn’t acknowledged and they weren’t available.

Excellent room-always-clean , tidy, quiet, everything we need is there for our night stay. Excellent staff-now like good friends to us, and always speaking excellent English. Delicious breakfast, as always, and good car parking.

Website says pets allowed. That is why we booked this hotel. Arriving there we hear pet is not allowed in the restaurant (which we can understand) and also not outside on the terrace which we cannot understand. We had to leave our dog inthe room which we dont like to do. Service in the restaurant:the waitress was ok, the waiter was very unfriendly. We ordered a gin tonic which was not served in the correct way and when we asked ice he was not very happy. Words like merci and svp where never used by this person. I will never stay in this hotel anymore.

De passage à Tours pour un week end avec ma compagne dans cet hôtel . Le personnel est adorable, font leur maximum pour vous satisfaire et ont répondu à toutes mes demandes / questions, même les plus « pénible » Il y à tout ce qu’il faut pour se détendre, la piscine qui a noté est abrité en cas de pluie et sans oublier le sauna dont nous avons bien profité ! Merci pour tout et nous reviendrons avec plaisir des que l’occasion s’y présentera

Hôtel 4 étoiles, dont les équipements sont vieillissants. Le point noir principal de cet hôtel est la climatisation qui ne fonctionne pas, ou alors de façon très insuffisante. Pour cette raison entre autres, il est hautement préférable, si vous voulez au moins fermer un œil durant la nuit, de choisir une chambre à l’arrière de l’hôtel, car les chambres du devant donnent sur la rocade, qui est la même chose qu’une bretelle d’autoroute, avec un flux de voitures, motos et camions, incessant. Et si la clim ne marche pas, vous étoufferez à l’intérieur, et si vous ouvrez la fenêtre, le bruit sera alors insupportable. Je remercie le directeur pour sa compréhension, qui a pu nous donner une chambre sur l’arrière, et Guilhem le réceptionniste, qui a su se montrer aimable, prévenant et professionnel. Plats du soir très restreints, en revanche très bon petit déjeuner, malgré l’absence de yaourts remplacés par du fromage blanc. Hôtel d’étape sans plus, qui doit refaire ses installations, pour être digne de figurer dans la catégorie d’hôtels 4 étoiles.

Hôtel très vieux qui mérite un coup de jeune! Même l’enseigne mercure n’avait que 4 lettres allumée.. Moquette sale , salle de bain limite, il est indiqué machine à café dans les chambres mais il est donné des sachets, piscine qui a du être superbe à une époque cet hôtel ressemble à un urbex Seul le petit déjeuner était tout à fait correct et digne d’un mercure Bref à fuir!!!!

Das Hotel und der Aussenbereich wirken insgesamt ungepflegt und veraltet. Das Hotel entspricht nicht unseren Erfahrungen in anderen Merkurhotels. Das Personal war bemüht und die Küche bot gute Qualität. Der Wellnessbereich war sehr schmutzig.
