"I have stayed at the Chateau before and it is good value as well as being an interesting building with many artistic features, there is also an outside pool. Generally, it’s clean but the rooms are a little dusty. The staff are helpful but on my previous stay the restaurant was shut due to staff problems. It was a disappointment but gave it a second chance. However, having booking again, I was told on arrival that the restaurant was not open on Mondays or Tuesdays. Please don’t be fooled by websites as every one I found stated that it was open on these days, so it’s a must to take this into account if you’ve had a long drive and do not want to dine out, you may well want to think again. It does seem to be under staffed as it can be difficult to find anyone if you would like an evening drink. You would either have to drive fifteen or so minutes into Macon where there are plenty of restaurants or if you prefer a village, drive in the other direction for less than ten minutes and there is a small restaurant next to the station called ‘Aux Dix Vins’ which I recommend and it’s open on Mondays and Tuesdays. The menu and quality is good, with some nice wines to accompany the food and the owner cares about how it’s run."

"The room was clean, the shower was disappeared, the water temperature was not controlled, it was boiling. We were three: 2 adults + 1 adolescence, his bed was not made, there was a dirt dress, only 2 toilet boxes. Very little place for breakfast, on a weekend of leave ... "The advantage of this hotel is that it's small and friendly, and all the rooms face the parking lot. They are comfortable (good bedding) with a few thoughtful touches (tea and coffee). This is still minimal service, but still very good value for money. The location is near a busy road in a nearby shopping area, and at the gateway to Macon. It straddles the city and all the surrounding small wine-growing villages, and is also at the gateway to Beaujolais, making it easily accessible from both sides. Friendly and professional reception staff. Dining options are available on site. Pleasant and friendly hotel, easy to access."

"L'hôtel est situé à 5-10 min de l'entrée d'autoroute, dans une zone commerciale. Ce qui permet le soir de se restaurer facilement. L'établissement est neuf, propre, dans un environnement calme, avec un très bon service de la part de la réception qui a su répondre à mes différentes attentes. Dans la chambre, compte tenu de la catégorie, rien n'est à reprocher, avec en prime une très bonne literie et l'équipement nécessaire. Quant au petit-déjeuner, il répond à tous les goûts. Une bonne adresse pour une halte d'une nuit."

"Idéal pour une halte car proche de l'autoroute, mais éloigné de tout. Il faut faire qlq minutes en voiture pour rejoindre la première zone commerciale. Jouxtant l'établissement, vous ne trouverez qu'un seul restaurant. La chambre est propre, bien isolée, avec le confort minimum dû à cette catégorie d'hôtel. Les choix offerts au petit-déjeuner sont limités compte tenu du tarif."
