"I stayed here for 2 nights in early October 2023. This is my first time in Mongolia. I sometimes take early morning flights to the next country, so it fit my travel style.
◯Good points
・A luxury apartment built in 2022? A room like a room. It's quite spacious and it's interesting to see the housing situation in Mongolia.
・There is floor heating and heating in all rooms, keeping the room warm.
・There is a balcony where you can have a drink in your room while looking at the magnificent land and sunset.
・There was a kitchen, cutlery, and a drum-type washing machine.
・Although there is a rhythm, the temperature and water pressure of the hot water are satisfactory. There is also a bathtub
・There is a large supermarket about a 15 minute walk away, and a convenience store-sized supermarket on the first floor of the hotel, so you won't have any trouble shopping.
・Almost all the outlets in the room are universal, so Japanese home appliances can be plugged in.
△Points that caught my attention
・There is no hair dryer. It's dry so it will dry within an hour...
・Maybe you can't flush paper in the toilet. Is this also normal in Mongolia?
・There are some amenities, but I have sensitive skin so I didn't use them just in case. Better bring it
・It's better not to drink water. The shower is a little yellow.
✕Hard points
・Taxi is the only route to the airport. The front desk called it for me and it was $25, which was a bit expensive for a solo traveler.
However, since it takes 30 minutes to get there from the new airport, it was a great addition to our itinerary. When you arrive from the airport, if you make a reservation in advance, we will pick you up for free, and if you forget, you can take the shuttle bus for 30,000T. The public bus ride from the hotel to the city center takes 1-1.5 hours and costs 500T each way. Depending on the search site, the airport may be displayed right next to the hotel, but please note that this airport is currently not in use."
"I loved this hotel because the staff were so universally friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was just lovely. I had two great meals there. Good value for money too. My one big complaint is the room was way too hot. It was 33°C. The air conditioning didn't work. The only advice I could be given was open the window. The 3 inches it opened. Nothing worked and it did make sleep difficult. Such a shame as it puts me off rebooking for October when I go again. There is an excellent ”Walking Street” opposite the hotel with restaurants and bars, so I'll be sad to change to a different hotel. Fix the room temperature, please!"
"The hotel was fine and I have no complaints. I found my room to be clean and pleasant, and the service to be OK. It is conveniently located in a mall and has a convenience store right next door.
They were having an issue with the key cards when I stayed there where I had multiple issues pressing the floor my room was on. I had to manually get this fixed several times at the front desk. Additionally, I don't know if they are associated with the hotel, but the coffee shop in the lobby is awful and has horrible service. My last complaint: I was asking the man who worked at the front desk to restore access to my room, given this key card issue as I had a meeting in 2 minutes I was running late to. He was trying to sell me a hotel-associated taxi that was overpriced, which annoyed me."
"Very good hotel! There is everything for a comfortable stay. Very good hotel location and service. We were provided with a taxi to the train station and also provided with breakfast, despite the fact that we checked out very early. We can recommend this hotel to everyone who plans to visit Ulaanbaatar."
