Travelodge Kidderminster ★★★

📍 Park Ln, Kidderminster

"Clean and nothing wrong with but compared to some other travelodges the room was smaller. No hairdryer. Checking in was a little difficult as booked through third party."

"I stayed for a friend's wedding. Very airy and the time on the terrace was great. I ate late the night before and left Birmingham early the next morning by train, so I'm sorry I had a short time at the hotel."

Premier Inn Kidderminster

Premier Inn Kidderminster ★★★

📍 Slingfield Mill, Weavers Wharf, Kidderminster

"The best premier inn we’ve ever stayed in. Perfect for if you’re visiting the safari park- it’s around a 5 minute drive away. We stay here every time we visit the safari park and each time it gets better. It’s clean; staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast was amazing and fresh and the room was clean. We’ll be back later in the year, thankyou for another fantastic stay!"

Gainsborough House Hotel
7.2 (49 reviews)

Gainsborough House Hotel ★★★

📍 Bewdley Hill, Kidderminster

"Very nice hotel. Big car park. Very quiet place. Although the facilities are a bit old fashioned, it has everything you need for a business night. It also has a heater inside the room. No fridge and locker tho. I can see squirrel from my room’s window! It’s next to a petrol station with a small shop. But if drive for like 5-10mins, there are lots of restaurants and cafe and big supermarkets options."

Travelodge Kidderminster ★★★
"I walked into the Travelodge to book a room. Had to stand in reception &go online to book the room as reception couldn't book anything. Chose 'today' but because the rooms were full, it defaulted to a week later!! I then had to pay a admin change fee to move the dates, even though I was standing in reception!!! Customer service was not available so no help whatsoever. Absolutely ridiculous & absurd. Ruined the first night of my trip and would suggest finding another hotel with a reasonable booking system and customer support!!"

"Very easy to find nice looking building the reception is on the 4th floor the lift as reported by many is very slow and the other lift has been refurbished since January 2026 and clearly it's now July it not going to be fixed any time soon. Reception desk is tiny and next to the dining area with a broken bell no one manning the desk saw one member of staff who was trying to do all sorts of different roles checked in room on level three entered the room all looked good saw the slot to enter card so did so then the lights didn't work called the reception number to b put through to a virtual receptionist who was completely useless and finally got through to reception who said they would send someone up after another chasing phone call half a hour later to be told they had the wrong room number finally a man turned up pulled the door car and managed to get the lights to work. Settled down to then realise that we only had one towel so back up to reception to ask for extra one. We didn't eat in the hotel but decided to eat out on touring the area we struggled to find any decent restaurants we found Nando's and a cocktail bar and was informed by other hotel guests of a pub ten mins walk down the canal path. We finally found a lovely Italian called love food Italia it's a six minute walk and the food was outstanding. Tips if you are only parking for the night then use the machine you can only do the night tariff on the machine you cannot do it on ringo. It was a typical premier inn but standards have dipped and you can see the stripping out of staff has made it go down hill but you cannot blame the staff who are trying to do their jobs in difficult circumstances."

"I had a lovely two night break here and received a warm welcome. This is a period property with lots of character and charm. Peaceful and relaxing but close enough for a short drive or 25 minute walk into the village. For anyone with mobility considerations bedrooms are one level up. Roughly 10 steps up to a small landing and a few more to the bedrooms. I would definitely return for a future visit."
