"The value for money was excellent in every way. It's right in front of the station, there's a convenience store next door, and parking is free. The process was easy and very convenient. However, the breakfast arrangement? First, there's soup, then side dishes, and then rice. Is the rice mixed grain rice, which is good for women? I prefer plain white rice. It's a bit disappointing. Also, it would have been nice if there were trays or trays, but it seems like no one used them. The flow of traffic wasn't smooth, so everyone was busy. I wish they had considered this a bit."

"Suijin Onsen Yumoto Higashikan. This is the only inn in Suijin Onsen, and I used it for a day trip. The bathing fee is 400 yen for the indoor bath only. The hot spring water flows freely from a round rock spout. It is a little hot and has a slight egg-like taste. There is a plentiful supply of water, and it flows directly from the source. It's a great hot spring."

"There are four open-air baths along the river, one women's bath that is a little higher up and looks like an open-air bath, and two indoor baths. The open-air baths have bubbles coming out from below, so they feel like they are coming from a hot spring, which makes you excited. However, the hottest bath was too hot for me to enter. The open-air baths are mixed and there are times for women, but they are one hour each in the morning and afternoon, so it was difficult to schedule, but in the end I enjoyed it when there were no people in the mixed bathing hours. Personally, I liked the "Shinyu" because it was spacious and had a nice view. When I went, I couldn't enter Me-no-yu, which is opposite Shinyu, because of snow damage. The washing area of the indoor baths is a little on the cleanliness side, but you can't use soap in the open-air baths, so I had to put up with that, but the water in the indoor baths is perfect. I stayed in the ryokan section, but there was no air conditioner. There were screens on the windows, so I got by with the outside air and a fan. I closed the windows at night because I was worried about bugs, but the temperature dropped at night so it was manageable. The food was not particularly good. However, I ate everything both in the morning and at night. If you are going by rental car, the roads are very narrow so I recommend renting a small car. In any case, the water is very good, so I would like to go again."

"A group of four of us booked a cabin on a whim, and I’m so happy we did!! We did a two-day ski trip to Geto Kogen, and I cannot stress enough how convenient these cabins were to the resort itself. We stayed overnight in between two days at the resort. The drive up to the resort was less than 20 minutes. The cabin itself was super cozy, so comfortable, had great amenities for the short time we were there, and the staff were so kind and helpful. Everything was very clean, the heater was already on when we arrived, which was a very thoughtful touch, and we were able to hang all our snow gear to dry thanks to the copious amounts of hangars available. We felt it was a crazy good deal based on the price, location, and availability to book it just a few days in advance. We will definitely be back in the summer to use the grill and go golfing at the country club!"
