Serendipity Beach Resort Koh Lipe Reviews

We absolutely loved our stay at Serendipity! Our room, located right at the very top, came with a private pool and offered ultimate privacy — truly a peaceful escape. The beach is tucked away at the far end of Sunrise Beach, making it wonderfully secluded from the crowds and the long-tail boats. The food was amazing — everything we tried was delicious! We especially loved that breakfast could either be enjoyed at the restaurant or served right to our room for a more relaxing morning. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Plus, the resort provides free snorkel gear and kayaks for guests who want to explore the beautiful waters nearby. All in all, it was a superb stay — excellent service, top-notch views, and pure serenity. We loved it to bits and would come back in a heartbeat! 🌴✨

Fantastic location with great views and proximity vary and lovely dining deck. Food was excellent and the service from all staff but in particular Kim was attentive and warm. The only minor criticism is that we found the beds a bit firm but some may prefer it this way. Overall a magical getaway experience. We look forward to returning again

The location is astonishing for sun rise. The room we were in had a view on the beach with an island in the background really magic. Restaurant” on the rock “ very nice at sunset as well or for late dinner. Good food and magic vibes.

Truely 5 star resort in Koh Lipe. Surrounding by nature and view of sea with a blue sky and a little swimming pool that just for you. What can I say. We deeply love it. Just take a look at the photo and you will know what Ive experienced. Services,staff all is top tier. And the breakfast is delicious.

Attention to detail is amazing. Clean and great view. Perfect for those who want a more quiet area and beach. One of the few parts of the beach that is not impeded by longtail boats

Bit far from the Main Street

very nice view, comfortable room, excellent service, all staff are very nice and helpful, breakfast also good, can snorkel at the beach in front of the resort, highly recommend for people that loves natural & simple things. If looks for luxury, then this is not your choice.

Pool villa and location absolutely 1000000% Breakfast also good but my room have cockroach 😂 but i get it due to location is on the mountain

Absolutely a wonderfull hotel. Great location, great rooms and the view from balcony is stunning. The staff is very very nice, and rhe kitchen is very high standard. The beach infront of the hotel offer you very clean water and the best possible snorkeling. Just like being in a aquarium..

Very private and spacious villa with amazing views. Would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway

Every once and a while you enter a property that transports you to another plane—certainly physically, more than likely emotionally, and possibly even spiritually. Serendipity delivers on all fronts. The ocean-view villa made me pine for loved ones, as I initially felt guilty for experiencing such a property by myself. I imagined my folks opening the shuttered windows and gazing out at the sunrise each morning. I wished my niece and nephew were sitting on the villa-wide balcony, keeping me company. Yet as the days passed, I fell comfortably in love with being alone in such a magnetic space. Steps from the most intimate, private stretch of Sunrise Beach, Serendipity balances up-scale bohemia with laid-back sophistication. The owner, fortunately, is also a chef—noted in each dish served. Welcoming and gregarious, he was approachable without being overbearing. Honeymoon—yes. Intimate anniversary—absolutely. Elderly parents—possibly a challenge due to the inclined stairways. However, anyone healthy should be able to navigate the surroundings easily. Low season was a dream… Thank you, Serendipity. X, Sam

We went during Christmas weekend and hence it was quite expensive but the hotel and the people were amongst the best we have come across so far. Ever so smiling and welcoming staff, food was really delicious and the restaurant view is unparalleled. We went on 2 island hoping trips while we were there and ordered lunchbox from the hotel. They came in cute tiffin boxes and it was fresh and very good. If I had to pick anything that’s a slight niggle would pick on the stairs to get to the rooms. It’s quite steep climb so wouldn’t recommend for senior travellers or family with kids. Also because all the room are hut and the wind while we were there was quite intense it could be slightly noisy at night with creaks and the pool gets dirty but oh boy will we miss the place and the people till we go there next !
