Location was good, staff was excellent. The only issue was the shower, which you had to press every 15 seconds for water, and the fact that there was construction happening on the building in the early morning, which wasn't great for sleeping in.

Very good hostel, the bed is comfortable and not a bunk bed. Very spacious room, and adequate amenities. There is a bus stop nearby to get to the main train station in 10 minutes, so it is convenient.

Good hostel

Hostel Deco, nestled in Kraków's heart, offers prime access to attractions. The spotless rooms and shared spaces impressed me. The staff were friendly and helpful, enhancing my stay. Modern facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and reliable Wi-Fi, met all my needs. For budget travelers seeking comfort and convenience, this hostel is a gem in Kraków's crown.

One of the best value for money hostels in the area. I stayed in a private room that was very spacious. It also included small but pretty balcony which was as nice surprise. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom also was clean. The only two slight negatives being that it’s around a 25 minute walk to the centre , so you kind of have to commit if your going to pop their for the day but large issue if you enjoy a walk. Secondly the walls were a little thin and my bedroom was located next to the shared bathroom so I’d sometimes wake up in the morning to the sound of people on the toilet. Besides that on the whole was a good hostel.

The building seems to have been renovated from an old Western-style building into a hotel, so the rooms and facilities are old. There is a heater in the room, but it didn't get very warm even when I turned it on. The toilet and shower seemed to have been built recently and were new and clean. However, the light in the shower room was sensor-operated, and it turned off after about 30 seconds, so it was inconvenient to have to go under the sensor to move. You can leave your luggage for free before and after check-in.

I stayed here while traveling solo! It's located about a 20-minute walk from Krakow Central Station, so it was very convenient! Above all, the front desk staff were very polite. I'm not confident in my Polish, let alone English, and my English is a bit halting, but they still listened to me kindly and helped me. Since I was just using it as a place to sleep, I didn't have any particular concerns about the room. The shower and toilet were also clean! I was also able to store my luggage before check-in and after check-out at no extra charge. ↑This was really appreciated!

Be careful when booking online, as breakfast and parking are available... and the lady at the reception is also completely "relaxed"... In reality, it's different: no quiet room, only on the main street side, no breakfast available, and parking on the street, if you can get one, and that for 4 zloty (1€) per hour (!!) between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., and the room has a double bed and shared shower and toilet (the lights go out after 3 minutes of a meeting...). The room itself is simply furnished; I was missing a decent chair, table, and TV. It's pathetic, and there's no elevator! The beds smell a bit musty, and the water in the shower actually turns off after 10 seconds and then you have to press the button again... Even for 169 zloty, the price is pretty high... rather outrageous for a hostel... a definite no-go from me! It's better to look for options outside the city or go across the street to the Hotel Delta. It costs a little more, but it includes a hotel room with breakfast!
