The location is super convenient, just a 10-minute walk from Kunming Station. The rooms are on higher floors, and I think the soundproofing is pretty good for such a noisy area. The hotel service is excellent; you can always find staff even in the early hours. The breakfast spread is rich, though the restaurant lighting could be better. The elevators are the biggest issue! There are two separate elevators, and during busy times, they stop on almost every floor, but no one is there to get on or off! But overall, it's still a good hotel. ❤️

The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk service was gentle and efficient, the location was convenient for getting around, the Wi-Fi was smooth, and it offered incredible value for money. Choosing Jia Hua Plaza Hotel this time was absolutely the smartest decision. It truly lives up to its reputation as a long-standing five-star hotel. I initially expected the facilities to be a bit outdated, but to my surprise, everything, both hardware and software, exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, with plenty of great dining options nearby, including many established old brands like Fuzhaolou. The lobby is grand and luxurious, and the central flower display is a delight to behold. The breakfast offers a rich variety of choices, covering all the best of Yunnan cuisine, which was a very thoughtful touch. Overall, the value for money is outstanding 👍. Next time I'm in Kunming, Jia Hua will definitely be my first choice.

We stayed here for three nights at the end of our Yunnan trip, and overall, it was a very comfortable and convenient stay. One thing worth clarifying is that the hotel is actually ”Park Inn by Radisson” or in Mandarin ”丽柏”. Trip.com listed it under a rather confusing name, “昆明·丽柏WAVESWEPT·MISTYSEA设计酒店,” which can make it difficult to identify the property. The location was excellent for us as we were travelling by train. The hotel is within walking distance of Kunming Railway Station and Line 2 metro station, making it very convenient for getting around. When it was time for us to leave, the hotel even offered us a complimentary ride to the metro station, where we could take a direct train to the airport. This was a very thoughtful touch. The breakfast was another highlight. There was a good variety of both Western and Chinese options, so there was something for everyone. They also served noodles from around 9–11pm, which was particularly welcoming when we arrived late in the evening with empty stomachs. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They gave us useful recommendations on where to visit around Kunming and were especially helpful when I had technical difficulties placing a ******* order as a foreigner. Their willingness to help with something outside the usual hotel services was much appreciated. The main downside for me was the sound insulation. I could clearly hear the water running from the neighbouring room whenever they turned on the tap. Traffic noise was also noticeable despite staying on the 4th floor. Overall, I had a very positive experience. The combination of a convenient location, excellent breakfast, late-night noodles, and genuinely helpful staff makes this a hotel I would happily return to when visiting Kunming again. Next time, I would simply request a higher floor for a quieter night's sleep.

The hotel has its own parking lot, which is great for guests traveling by car. It's not far from the train station, about a 1-kilometer walk, and there are plenty of dining options just a short stroll away. It's also relatively close to Green Lake and Kunming Old Street.

Kunming Jinjiang Hotel, in my memory, is one of the classic old hotels in Kunming. When I was a child, I used to pass by and just look at it from afar, wishing I could stay there someday. I never thought that this time, I finally brought my mother and daughter to stay here. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The moment I walked into the lobby, I felt a comforting warmth, just like coming home. What was particularly thoughtful was that they even prepared snacks specifically for my child. We truly appreciated this small gesture. To be honest, by today's standards, it's not a luxurious or trendy new hotel. However, the rooms are immaculately clean, and every detail makes you feel comfortable and at ease. When checking in, the staff even brought us three warm bowls of tremella soup with fresh fruit, which instantly soothed the fatigue from our journey. The location is absolutely perfect, right on Beijing Road. Stepping out, there are all sorts of local snacks nearby, and bus stops are close by, making it very convenient to get anywhere. When I come back to Kunming in the future, I would still choose Jinjiang Hotel. It's not for anything else, but for this sense of comfort and the warmth that feels just like home.

After reading many reviews, I finally chose this hotel. I saw some comments mentioning dirty carpets and elevator issues, but perhaps because it was the off-season, I didn't encounter any of these problems. The bathroom floor is anti-slip and the shower is separate from the toilet, which is very clean! They provide conditioner, shampoo, and body wash. However, if you're staying with a friend of the opposite sex, it might be a bit awkward as the bathroom door doesn't lock. The room's floor was spotless! A hairdryer is provided, and you can also borrow chargers. The amenities are very complete; if you're traveling with family, there are even building blocks for children to play with. If you take the airport shuttle to Kunming Station, it's about a 10-12 minute walk. The path to the hotel at night can be a bit dark, so be careful. There are many restaurants nearby, and a convenience store right downstairs, which is very convenient. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

We booked a day and ended staying here for a week, most touched by the good services offered by some of the staff at the front desks. Although the challenges remain as the personal changes time to time, some were unable to help or given wrong information, nevertheless, they have been most helpful. I like the way they resolve the problem of the limited (only one) washing machine, but assisting in queueing the guest's laundry, and retriving them when done. This save us much time to spot an empty washing machine. The location is not amazing despite about 300 m+, it has no stopping point for vehicle, grabs often refuse to pick or stop near to the hotel. Getting on and off also risks knocking by the many fast moving vehicals on the inner lane. Hotel adjacent to a construction, and train, expect the noise, good to have double layer windows which cut the noise significantly. We love the interior of the hotel being simple and space effective. We decorate it with flowers (very cheap here, just last for a day or few). Cleaniness is good, minus occasionally get a fast cleaner than skipping hidden areas and forgetting to reprenish items. It has almost no facilities, the computer turn on was too slow that I have never stay until seeing it ”on”. Breakfast nicely serve with some pastry and typical noodles, though everyday almost identical, for short stay, it makes no different. Great to have soya and coffee for the morning too.
