The hotel had an authentique Japanese feel to it , very spacious rooms , kind staff , and perfect location ! If you are coming from Tokyo to get another feel of Japan then this must be the perfect location ! Being used to major hotels in Tokyo , this came as a contrast , it felt like a traditional home but with all the luxuries you need. I highly recommend

The service is very good and the location is good. It is a very antique Japanese style, especially the breakfast. We chose Japanese style, which is very authentic. The concept of the hotel is great, especially the wooden bow, which is worth experiencing.

Sharing my experience from a five-night stay, a reminder to all my Chinese friends: there are too many complaints, and the accommodations are completely unworthy of the high price. It's better to spend a few hundred more and stay at the Ritz-Carlton. Think twice before booking. First, the room layout is poor, with poor soundproofing, which disrupts sleep. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, giving us both colds. If we turn it off, a strong musty smell emanates. The weirdest thing is that the entire bathroom has a loud echo, and even after changing rooms, the same effect persists. It's truly nerve-wracking. Customer service explained that "everyone's senses are different." Second, the hotel offers only basic services. For example, if I wanted to exchange money, I had to go to a nearby hotel. During my several-day stay, I had to handle almost everything on my own. The hotel arranged for Chinese-speaking waiters from Taiwan, thinking they cared about Chinese customers, but it felt off. The service was completely inadequate. We booked a Japanese restaurant through the hotel, but both of us got sick from the air conditioning. We contacted the Chinese customer service to discuss rescheduling and to find a restaurant offering light tofu soup. The customer service representative basically threatened us, saying, "You have to go, otherwise the restaurant will charge the hotel, and we won't pay." We went back to our room to think it over and called back, saying they'd try their best to help us coordinate. We were already feeling unwell from the air conditioning in our room, and we caught a cold. Ultimately, we went to the restaurant despite our agreement, and from start to finish, the customer service representative simply urged us to go and pay for the restaurant, offered no help in researching the light menu, and showed no concern or desire for improvement. This hotel's desperation to squeeze in as much profit as possible seems to be its guiding principle. Third, the check-out standard is 11:00 PM. We called to check out at 12:00 PM, and the customer service representative replied, "I'll ask, and they can check at 12:00 PM. It's free, but every minute beyond that will be charged." It's laughable. As a customer spending over 25,000 RMB, is this the same attitude they still receive? It was off-peak season, and the hotel wasn't crowded. The ********* customer service representative appeared friendly but was unhelpful, and the Japanese manager was cold and had poor English. For guests staying for multiple days, various situations are likely to arise. I don't recommend this hotel for those who want a peaceful and relaxing stay.

The service was very good. My family member was sick and the hotel brought breakfast to the room separately. They also helped me find a clinic. Although I didn't have a good experience because of the illness, it was still very good. It's also nice to go around.

We wanted to stay in a suite together during the Chinese New Year. It was too inconvenient. The bathroom had to pass through another bedroom. It was very uncomfortable to sleep on an extra bed. We couldn't sleep well at all. We still had to book two rooms. The price was the same.

The hotel breakfast is not a buffet, and you can eat it at 9:30 at the latest. You need to pay attention to the fact that the main purpose is to relax and have a good rest. The Asian service staff is very good, enthusiastic and helpful. The white female "manager" in the lobby, who is not sure if she is the manager, has a cold attitude and is condescending. Her English skills are very limited and it is impossible to communicate.

As soon as I entered the hotel, the woody smell made me fall in love with this hotel. The warm welcome from all the staff. The decoration style is very characteristic of Japan's ancient capital. The room is so clean that my sister who is a mysozoic recognized it. Japanese breakfast is a kind of enjoyment. Feel free to take photos in the hotel. It's all about the scenery. The deluxe room we stayed in had enough space for our 5 suitcases. It was a very large hotel. It was very quiet and private. It was also very good. You can walk to the main places in Kyoto. I was very satisfied with the hotel during this trip. We will come back in the warm season. We will come again. Choose this one

Let me tell you about our experience and see if you still want to book this hotel. We booked a four-day, three-night stay at the Hiramatsu Hotel. My son fell ill on the first day we arrived at the hotel. When we checked in, I told the hotel that my child was ill and needed them to deliver one of our medicine boxes to the room. The hotel also asked if I wanted help buying medicine, which means the hotel knew that our child was ill. The next day, the child saw a doctor, but the medicine prescribed by Japan was too bitter. The child couldn't eat it and vomited it out after eating it. We hurriedly used the trash can to catch it, but some of it still got on the quilt, so we asked the waiter to help change the sheets. On the morning of the third day, we were told that because the child vomited, the room had to be disinfected. The disinfection fee was 85,000 yen (about 4,000 yuan), and a third-party disinfection agency had to come to do it. They said it was a regulation of the Japanese government after the epidemic. I said that you knew the child was ill when we checked in, but you didn't know at the time. They said that if we were sick and stayed in your hotel, we would have to disinfect it. We went to see a doctor, and we didn't have a malignant infectious disease, just a common cold for our child, and there was a doctor's diagnosis certificate. Anyway, we had to disinfect it anyway. Later, I contacted Ctrip customer service, and the customer service also went to negotiate with them, but it didn't work. They just insisted on disinfection. Later in the afternoon, we came back, and I asked my Japanese-speaking driver to communicate with them. They probably felt that Ctrip had been telling them in the morning that they should have informed the guests in advance, and they didn't say it in advance that disinfection was wrong, so they changed their statement and said that it was because our child vomited and the room smelled, affecting other people's living, so they had to disinfect. The room didn't smell at all. We stayed there for two more days, and in the morning they said it was related to the epidemic, that is, because of the virus, so disinfection was needed, and in the afternoon they said it was the smell. Who can accept this? The driver didn't communicate, so my husband and I went to find the hotel manager. We asked to see the documents requiring disinfection from the government, and under what circumstances the hotel needs to do disinfection. As a result, the government had no relevant regulations at all (but it had been under the banner of the government before), and then we said that it would be okay to look at the relevant rules and regulations of your hotel. They searched the uniform for a long time but couldn't find it. I was speechless. We said at the time, I will not agree to you paying your so-called disinfection fee without any basis. We are sorry that we soiled the sheets. We can pay a reasonable cleaning fee, but we don't accept more. Later, they said they would report it to their top executive and gave me a reply the next day. Finally, they agreed to charge a cleaning fee, but the hotel asked for a sky-high price right from the start, with all kinds of lies about government requirements and the fallacy that the room smelled. I have never heard of this in all the years I have stayed in hotels. In another hotel that costs four or five thousand a night, they don't even fold the hotel blanket after cleaning the room, but put it in the corner of the room. What's going on? It's not okay for my helper to clean the room like this.

A very stylish Japanese-style hotel with large rooms and a great location, surrounded by various Michelin-starred restaurants. Breakfast is provided in the room, and you can choose Japanese or Western style. The service was attentive and the stay was very comfortable. All drinks in the mini bar in the room are free, you can drink all you want haha😄The disadvantage is that there is no gym or hot spring
