Hotels near Louise, Brussels

I booked a room on Trip.com and requested a 'fireworks view' in the comments, if possible. I received the booking confirmation → OK. To ensure I got the right room, I went to the hotel's website to chat and confirm the view. I had to pay an additional €34 to get this view. WHY? The requested room was in the same category and was already more expensive that day (Dec 31). At that point, I really felt like I was dealing with a low-cost airline. I'm the sucker! Upon arriving at the hotel, we received the key and went to our room… on the 3rd floor… with absolutely no fireworks view. We went back down to the reception, and our room was changed to 1205. Upon entering the room, it was very cold, and we were genuinely surprised by the noise coming from the boulevard → a nasty surprise, we'll need earplugs. After dinner, we returned to the room at 11:30 PM and heard music coming from outside?? We realized there must be a party somewhere. We didn't sleep until 7 AM when the music finally stopped. What a nightmare. Once we left, we realized there was indeed a nightclub right next door, and we were hearing their music. I spent €400, had a VERY bad experience that I will share with my friends, and will probably never return — which is a shame, because the last time we came, we had a good experience. I hope this is helpful. Positive points: the cocktails and breakfast are very good, and the rooms are small but comfortable.

Aside the environs outside the hotel which wasn’t neat, our stay at the hotel was so pleasant. Rooms were neat and just perfect. We enjoyed our stay. Proximity to eateries and tourist sites was a plus

This hotel boasts a rather convenient location, allowing for a pleasant walk into the city center (if you're up for it!). The stroll itself is quite enjoyable, with numerous points of interest along the way. What's more, the immediate vicinity of the hotel is brimming with dining, drinking, and shopping options. The rooms are generously sized, thoughtfully divided into distinct areas for the bathroom, dressing, sleeping, and even a kitchen, which is a definite plus. However, one significant drawback is the hotel's parking facility. It is incredibly narrow, and unfortunately, my car suffered several scrapes as a result. Additionally, there's a daily parking fee of approximately €20. Overall, while the hotel offers comfortable and spacious rooms in a well-situated location with plenty of nearby amenities, the extremely tight parking situation is a considerable downside to be aware of.

When I made the booking I already made full payment but yet after I arrived at the hotel it was a self check in system and I had to pay the amount again and there was no staff there as it was late evening. Next morning I could talk to the receptionist and there was something wrong with their system and the amount will be returned within 1-2 weeks. The room itself is not bad and location was ok it’s a solid 20 mins walk to the train station and main attractions

The hotel is of good quality, with friendly and accommodating staff who went out of their way to assist us, offering information on local restaurants and chocolate shops. Our stay in the room was comfortable, and the cleanliness was commendable. However, being situated near a bar district, there is a possibility of late-night noise from people on the streets during weekends, which could be somewhat disruptive. Additionally, the hotel's location is not ideal, requiring a minimum of 20 minutes to reach the city center and 15 minutes to the nearest railway station. Nevertheless, considering the price point, these minor drawbacks are acceptable.

This time, I got a room on the fourth floor, which was more standard (last time, the top-floor 'Dachzimmer' was smaller). The bathroom renovation was also good. The breakfast was quite rich, with self-service freshly squeezed juice, a good variety of cheeses and meats, and excellent baked goods. The hotel is about 150 meters from the subway station, making it very convenient for getting around.

The environment is great, and the service is excellent. It's super convenient to get around as it's right next to the train station. They change the sheets every day and clean daily, which I really appreciate. Plus, the price is very reasonable.

Everything was excellent! Customer service was great and they were very friendly. The beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was one of the best I had ever tasted! The parking garage is limited and tight however we were able to fit our van. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel!

Reasonable hotel to stay in. The room is small just nice to fit 2 single beds. There's a writing table and chair for writing and working. The room looks quite old with old carpet and furniture but still functional. The bed is is small but comfortable. The toilet is small with basic soap and shampoo provided. The hotel is very near to the tourist attractions like the peeing boy statute, chocolate shops and souvenir shops all along the street. Lot's of food places and snacks like crepe and churros. Halal food is also easily available.

I received an invoice by email on the morning of my departure, which indicated I had been charged twice for breakfast, once at the time of booking and once on arrival (which I questioned as I believed I had requested this when booking, but I was told not, so I paid). Despite this, on the second and last day of my stay I was refused admission to the restaurant for breakfast as I was not on the list, even though my keycard (see photo) clearly stated I was registered. Reception could find no record of my payment! It was only when I confronted them with the emailed invoice that they provided me with a voucher. The delay in sorting this out - compounded by one elevator being out of service during my stay, and the one remaining struggling to cope with demand (see second photo) - left me with insufficient time to eat much. Trying to sort the matter out afterwards with the hotel management was a frustrating process. Great location and clean room, let down by lousy administration.
