"This beautiful boutique hotel gets five stars from us all round. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We had an amazing stay — everything was spotlessly clean, from the floor to the taps. The gym was brand new and immaculate. I loved the interior design of the hotel, from the colour scheme and décor to the furniture, coffee machine, cup and room amenities. It's clear that they pay attention to every little detail. Our room was quiet, which allowed us to recharge after our long-haul flight. We would definitely recommend it and can’t wait to go back."

We were woken every time someone in another surrounding room turned their shower on - really loud plumbing noise. We would have struggled to stay any loner than 2 nights due to the noise. A nice stay other than that."

"The staff are really great. I mean, the facilities are quite wonderful but it was the service experience that I appreciated the most. And the breakfast - my goodness! I really enjoyed all of the food, and I did try just about everything during my stay. The bread and pastries were fantastic, the coffee was lovely. Lots of other nice stuff - cheese and so on. Really great. Also there is a nice little patio area outside which was perfect for having a relaxing breakfast in the fresh air and sunshine. Access: I arrived on a city bus from Brussels Airport. The airport bus area is a real nightmare currently (May 2026), so I don't recommend that right now. But after they fix the bus terminal, it would be a good option (if you don't have a lot of luggage). It is a short walk from the bus stop to Penta Hotel. I took a rideshare back to the airport when I left. The room was cozy and comfortable. The bathroom facilities were good. The bed was very comfortable, nice bedding and pillows. I slept very well. The A/C wasn't working well, but it was during the heat wave and everyone was having issues in the country at the time. So I think it's not surprising. The vibe of the hotel is really cool. It definitely worked for me, lots of neat design stuff and graphics and knick-nacks with a lot of character. It fit my taste very well and hopefully you would like it too. I didn't get a chance to use the pool table in the lobby but I'm going to make a point of it next time. In summary: a funky and comfortable place to stay, good value for the price, outstanding breakfast and amazing, friendly and courteous staff. Very happy I found this place. (Apparently it's a small chain, so I will look for them when I am travelling in other places)"

"The hotel is right in the city center, within walking distance of downtown attractions. There are plenty of restaurants around the church square next door, offering decent food at reasonable prices. If you have enough time, you can take the public bus to and from the airport for just 3 Euros."

The value for money is absurd, especially compared to the Holiday Inn Express where I stayed the day before for the same price, which included breakfast and was a true 4-star hotel. The rooms are tiny with the sink in the bedroom area and a minuscule shower. This hotel is to be avoided at all costs."

"This was the worst experience of our trip. First, they charged a 50 Euro deposit on September 8th, saying it would be refunded upon checkout. As of the 19th, I still haven't received the deposit! Second, the room was extremely small, making this the worst value for money during our trip. The furniture in the room was old! It was hard to even walk around with the suitcase open in the room! The only advantage is its proximity to the train station."
