Hotels near Altstadt - Lehel, Munich

The room was fair, the pillows were very very uncomfortable but it is reasonably priced so I guess its alright for a night or two. It is located perfectly between the center and the central station so both catching a bus for the airport and exploring the city is very convenient.

The hotel is nicely located near the main square thus it is a plus. On your way back to the hotel, you will be passing by nice international food selection: viet, Italian, Indian and even two Afghani restaurants. Amd if you miss lne of course, you got your kebab shop! The deal breaker for me, the welcoming deamor of the reception staff. A mixed bag, half were smiling and half is long faced. My advice if smiling and welcoming guests isnt for you, one must quit a customer facing job. And the lady that checked us in has refused to add my husband's holiday in loyalty number. Her reasoning, since you booked using a third party, one must not earn the point. Okay but actually another of her colleague is willing to add the details, just in case we spent something in the bar. Why is it points cant be earn... same concept like flights.. they aren't fussy abt you earning yoir miles. You are the same person at the end of the day. Amenities: breakfast is sumptuous and varied selection although similar everyday. However reception here are way friendlier and jolly. Their gym is properly equipped. I am also delighted with their housekeeping, they do their daily rounds and the lobby is freshen up to. Compared to a marriot hotel which uses a robot, we're lobby edges are so filty. So kudos to the housekeeping team! I am happy though that my husband doesnt have a company site in Germany, I will take checking in France/Poland/India and china any day. They are just way welcoming. The attitude just simply put me off, it shouldn't be a German thing as we ate in a German restaurant in the main square, they are nice over there.

Staff is very accommodating. Quiet ,room shower drainage was poor.,hope they will improve it. Location is really great.

Out of the city but in 100 meters you are in a free highway to go everywhere in the city center. Outdoor private free parking. Front desk people kind and helpful. Around not many restaurants or cafes or  supermarkets but you can manage it, just in case of needs.

The hotel's location is excellent, easily accessible from the main train station or city center via the 19 tram. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, always trying their best to meet guests' needs, such as providing a portable water heater when requested. The room itself was spacious and clean, with great amenities, and the bed was particularly comfortable. The lighting was bright, and the touch-screen control system was very convenient to use. A nice touch was the complimentary mini-bar, which included a bottle of beer and various soft drinks. The bathroom had excellent water pressure and a consistent hot water supply, making for a pleasant experience. But the real highlight was the breakfast. The spread was incredibly diverse, offering a wide range of hot and cold dishes to suit every taste. Overall, my stay was very satisfying. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend it.

It's a typical hostel-style accommodation. You have to change your own sheets. It's best suited for groups, for instance, six people booking a whole room, which would offer excellent value for money. It's more than a twenty-minute walk, about half an hour, to the train station, long-distance bus terminal, and airport shuttle stop. You can also reach the Old Town in about half an hour on foot, or take the tram.

It’s about a five-minute walk from the Hofbräuhaus, and it’s also very close to the shopping mall. The market is downstairs, which is very convenient.

Great hotel near the train station, very convenient location to the center. Lots of good places for lunch or dinner nearby. Nice that they put some marmalades when you check in. The breakfast is just great! Very tasty and varied, I stayed 4 nights and every day they added something different. Good view from the room. A little thin walls, you could hear noise from the next room one night, but the other days everything was fine. It is very convenient that there is a kettle, tea, coffee, cream, welcome cookies, glasses and water in the room. There is a refrigerator. No minuses, everything is great! I will definitely return to this hotel

There's a laundromat about a 5-minute walk from the hotel, which is convenient. The airport bus to Munich is also within a 10-minute walk. It's a great base for getting around, so I'd definitely recommend it. Checking in via QR code was super fast, which I loved. Our room required us to step outside briefly to get to it, but it wasn't a hassle at all. There are a few steps to climb before you reach the elevator. That might be a bit much for some people, though. The room key is a card key, but I found it quite hard to open the door, even after pulling the handle down multiple times (and I'm a woman). My male companion opened it easily, so it seems you just need to put some force into it. All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful! The shower pressure was great, and the cleanliness was excellent. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, it's perfectly fine.

This hotel has a good standard, with well-equipped rooms and clean, modern bathrooms. Overall, it feels tidy and well-maintained. The breakfast is excellent, offering a wide variety of dishes — especially the sausages, which are really delicious. However, the location is quite far from the S-Bahn, U-Bahn, and tram stations, though fortunately there are a few bus lines passing in front of the hotel. The main downside is the parking policy. Guests should be allowed to park for free, but the hotel charges €19 per day, which is quite expensive. I only parked for less than 30 minutes just to drop off my luggage, yet they still charged the full rate — very disappointing and unfair.
