Amazing
KKeweisishidakaiThe location is fantastic! I really enjoyed the mall located right downstairs. It has a three-story Chanel store and many trendy Japanese brands, perfect for leisurely browsing. There's also a general store on B1 where I spent at least an hour, and still felt like I could have stayed longer.

Lluv travelingI recently stayed again at Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Hakata Gion Kushida Shrine, and it definitely lived up to my expectations for a return visit. The location is still one of the biggest highlights — being right next to the subway and within walking distance to Hakata Station, Canal City, and plenty of restaurants makes getting around incredibly convenient. The rooms are modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. While they’re not very large (which is typical in Japan), everything is well laid out and comfortable. I especially appreciated the small details like the amenities and overall cleanliness. One of the best parts of staying here again was the public bath (onsen). It’s clean, relaxing, and a perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring — definitely something I looked forward to every night. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was smooth and efficient. Overall, this hotel continues to be a reliable and comfortable choice in Fukuoka. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, clean, and well-equipped base for exploring the city.

DDayazhouI stayed here for ten days to enjoy the cherry blossoms, witnessing the entire process from their initial bloom to full splendor in Fukuoka. I was extremely pleased with everything, from the hotel lobby to the room, and from the service to the food. It's conveniently located within walking distance of Hakata Station. The cherry blossoms at Tochoji Temple nearby were magnificent when in full bloom (April 202***). The breakfast was particularly delicious, especially the vegetable salad, the made-to-order sashimi rice bowl, and the desserts. Perhaps because the bathroom and washroom were quite spacious, taking up a lot of the area, the 21-square-meter room felt small. We could just about open two small suitcases, but a larger one would have been difficult!

JjoyleoelThe location is excellent, just a 3-5 minute walk from Tenjin Underground Shopping Center via the subway. It's also relatively clean. The semi-private pod I booked was decent, offering a somewhat independent space. However, it really depends on luck; if your neighbors come back late and are noisy every night, it can be quite annoying. Also, the cleaning here starts too early; I remember staff cleaning around 7-8 AM, which can easily disturb your sleep. But overall, considering the price and location, the value for money is still pretty good. A downside is that you can't store luggage after checking out.

GGuest UserThe location was superb as it's just a few steps away from the underground entrance to the metro. There's also a 24Hr supermarket just minutes walk from the hotel above ground or if it's raining you can take the metro underground walkway which will also get you right to the entrance of supermarket. There are a few drug stores nearby (for medicine / cosmetics) and some open till 9pm or even midnight. It's only a very short walk to get to Canal city shopping area which has an array of shops and dinning options. We stayed for 5 nights and breakfast was included in our room rate and it was very good with a decent amount of choices (we ended up eating there 4/5 mornings). Although the dinning area was not very big so if you're there during peak hours there could be a bit of a wait. The room was a standard 'Dormy' room that you'd expect in almost any other Dormy Inn but for this particular hotel we felt the cleaning needs a bit of work. We have a habit of wiping down the shelves / tables before placing our things and even after three rounds of wiping with wet cloth / tissue it's still grey which shook us a bit.

BBee Hong OngI love this hotel as it's very convenient, near to Hakata Station, shopping area where you can buy everything under one roof. Hotel is clean, staff very friendly, and it comes with free coffee, free soba, free flow of wine and sake. Laundry at level 5 is convenient with free clothing compress that helps me so much when packing my luggage. Easy transport to and fro airport and hotel. Good breakfast with many choices but expensive when rooms without breakfast anyway I enjoyed my stay with Oriental Hotel and will recommend it to friends travelling to Fukuoka.

CCzdachengziThe hotel's location is excellent. It's less than 100 meters from the Chikushi Exit of Hakata Station – just turn left and you're there. Right next to the hotel, you'll find a FamilyMart convenience store, a Yoshinoya, and a ramen shop. On the other side of the hotel, there's a bus stop with a direct bus to Fukuoka Airport's International Terminal, which is incredibly convenient. Check-in is at 2 PM, and you can store your luggage for free if you arrive early. Check-out is at 11 AM. Both check-in and check-out are done via machines, which have a Chinese language option, and the hotel staff are very helpful if you need assistance. Next to the check-in area, you can self-service amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, and bath salts. To use the hotel elevator, you need to scan your room key card. I booked a double room for single occupancy, which was 18 square meters – a standard size for a Japanese chain hotel. The shower is located inside the bathtub. Housekeeping is available daily; just attach the 'Please Clean' sign (found on the back of your door) to the outside of your door if you'd like your room serviced. The hotel's facilities are typical for a Japanese budget chain hotel, nothing extraordinary to note. It's clean, and the service is decent. Its biggest selling point is definitely its proximity to Hakata Station, making it super convenient for taking the JR, subway, and Shinkansen.

GGuest UserWe booked a twin room Chapter4 with 2 small double beds. The space is big which is good for us as we have 2 active toddlers and it was just nice for them to move around in the room. Bed size is just nice. We requested kids toiletries and the hotel provided kid's toilet seat and toothbrush. Buffet breakfast option available but we didn't try as ¥3500/adult is a bit pricey. We settled breakfast at konbini steps away from the hotel. There is a small Cafe just next to the hotel for caffeine fix, nice coffee at reasonable price. No coin laundry available, I have to drive 5mins to get one. Location wise,, it took us about 10mins walk from Hakata station and that means quieter environment. In short, I recommend it for family stay with kids as it offers bigger room space, reasonable price, quiet environment and near to Hakata station.

GGuest UserConveniently located in the Tenjin area and right next to the Tenjin stop (on the airport line) and also the underground street mall. there is a good line up for breakfast, though it only starts at 7am, which is difficult for those who are catching a 10am flight. A really busy hotel, which speaks of how good the location and service is, and perhaps the staff look over work. I made my way to the reception to get them to deliver a luggage rack up, which the reception promised she would do so personally this moment. But after 40mins still no sign and I needed to go to bed, so I made my way down and asked a 2nd time.

SSinsinisThe room is quite small, and it’s a bit difficult for two people to open their suitcases at the same time — we had to take turns. Other than that, everything was very good. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. I had seen reviews mentioning ikura, but it wasn’t available during my stay, which was a little disappointing. Still, I was overall very impressed.
