KKeweisishidakaiThe location is fantastic! I really enjoyed the mall located right downstairs. It has a three-story Chanel store and many trendy Japanese brands, perfect for leisurely browsing. There's also a general store on B1 where I spent at least an hour, and still felt like I could have stayed longer.

Bbyti.coWonderful location! A straight walk from Hakata Station (or you can take one stop on the subway). The hotel is right outside the subway station. Very short walk to Canal City too. A 24h pharmacy nearby with an AEON mart at the basement. There's good food around too. Really great location but if you stay the STAY ROOM type, please note that you will be facing a huge cemetery 🥲. It's mostly hidden by trees but you absolutely can see it. The hotel is right infront of the cemetery. Other room types won't get that view thankfully. There's a free to use public bath, free ice pops, and free to use microwave. Washing machine outside is paid per use. You can see the status from your room. STAY ROOM washing is free with detergent provided 👍 Service was great initially. Check in team aided with my requests. However, checkout team was not the best. I arrived at the counter, confused and in a rush but the team in the morning all stood behind the counter, leaning their backs to the wall. I utter a word of question and nobody came forward to help. I tried to figure it out myself, by slotting in the card, then finally someone came forward, no talk no acknowledgement, tapped some stuff - all in japanese - and then nothing. I was confused, then one of the English speaking stuff said ”all done”... I was very unimpressed with this service. Especially with the sight of all of them leaning against the wall when I obviously needed help. Really a downer to a good stay.

GGuest UserWorst hotel experience in a month of traveling Japan — avoid if you have other options I've been traveling across Japan for a full month — Osaka, Tokyo, Hiroshima and more — and Wellcabin Tenjin is hands down the worst service I've received anywhere. Made a simple booking mistake and reached out to correct it within 10 minutes — not the last day, not last minute, literally within 10 minutes of booking. I wasn't asking for a refund or a cancellation — I simply wanted to change the date and upgrade to a more private room, both of which would have benefited them financially. Still a flat out no. I petitioned multiple times, even with the support of the hotel booking agent advocating on my behalf, and they remained completely unmoved. No empathy, no flexibility, no solutions. Just a stubborn, repeated refusal — for the most basic and reasonable requests imaginable. The app also showed ”Failed to cancel booking” and ”Failed to modify dates” so there was no way to self-serve either. Completely trapped. On top of that: 11am checkout means you are gone — permanently. You cannot come back inside, cannot use any facilities, cannot sit for a break, cannot do anything. You are physically out the door at 11am with no return. Most hotels worldwide let you hang around the lobby or common areas — not here. Just thrown out onto the street. No luggage storage after checkout — in all my years of traveling worldwide, this is the first place I've ever stayed that refuses to hold your bags. Not once have I encountered this anywhere else. You're left dragging everything around all day with zero support. The place simply doesn't feel welcoming — from the moment something goes wrong, you're completely on your own Nickel-and-dime culture — they charge a fee for everything, including slippers. Every other hostel I stayed at across Japan provided them free, daily. Not here. Locker room has no camera — you cannot leave anything safely here Laundry is overpriced — the most expensive I encountered across every city I stayed in Japan For a capsule hotel marketing itself on convenience, it fails on almost every front. Every basic comfort comes with a price tag, and the moment you need any flexibility or human decency, they shut the door on you — literally and figuratively — even when you act immediately, in good faith, and are willing to spend more. The only thing going for it is the central Tenjin location — but that's the neighborhood, not the hotel. I travel around the world constantly and this is genuinely the first time I've encountered a hotel this rigid, unwelcoming, and unhelpful. Only consider this place if you have absolutely no other options. Otherwise, keep looking.

MmeruchanStayed at JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Hakata Central during my trip to Fukuoka and overall had a very comfortable experience. Location: The hotel is very conveniently located just a short walk from Hakata Station, making it extremely easy to get around the city or catch trains. One useful pro-tip: on the day we were leaving for the airport it was raining, and we discovered there is an underground passage connecting to the subway right next to the hotel. There is no clear signage from the hotel side, it just looks like a staircase going down to the basement but it connects directly to the underground network leading to the subway. The only downside is that there is no elevator, so it may not be ideal if you have heavy luggage. Room: The room felt quite spacious by Japanese standards. We were able to comfortably open 2 large suitcases, 1 medium suitcase, and 1 cabin luggage without feeling cramped. The bathroom was also relatively large, which is a nice plus compared to many business hotels in Japan. Overall, a very convenient and comfortable stay, especially if you plan to travel frequently via Hakata Station.

GGuest UserThe hotel is new with excellent service. It's super convenient, just three subway stops from the airport, a 15-minute walk to Jr Hakata Station, and 10 minutes to Canal City Hakata. The rooms are a good size, and the bathroom is spacious. The lobby is on the second floor and offers various amenities.

BBee Hong OngI love this hotel as it's very convenient, near to Hakata Station, shopping area where you can buy everything under one roof. Hotel is clean, staff very friendly, and it comes with free coffee, free soba, free flow of wine and sake. Laundry at level 5 is convenient with free clothing compress that helps me so much when packing my luggage. Easy transport to and fro airport and hotel. Good breakfast with many choices but expensive when rooms without breakfast anyway I enjoyed my stay with Oriental Hotel and will recommend it to friends travelling to Fukuoka.

EEkin HuFukuoka on a weekend is notoriously expensive, and with my last-minute booking, options were limited. I was a bit worried seeing the lower review scores, but my stay was perfectly fine. It's incredibly convenient: just turn left out of the Chikushi Exit and it's a 1-2 minute walk. If you're taking the Shinkansen, the Chikushi Exit is where you need to be. Plus, the bus to the airport from the old Hakata Bus Terminal has also moved to the bus stop at the Chikushi Exit, making travel incredibly easy.

CClaraLinsnSpacious and comfortable room with a lovely city view. The room was clean, cosy, and well maintained, with plenty of space to relax after a long day out. Location was very convenient, close to shopping, food options, and transport. Service staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience, and we would happily stay here again 🌟

GGuest UserConveniently located in the Tenjin area and right next to the Tenjin stop (on the airport line) and also the underground street mall. there is a good line up for breakfast, though it only starts at 7am, which is difficult for those who are catching a 10am flight. A really busy hotel, which speaks of how good the location and service is, and perhaps the staff look over work. I made my way to the reception to get them to deliver a luggage rack up, which the reception promised she would do so personally this moment. But after 40mins still no sign and I needed to go to bed, so I made my way down and asked a 2nd time.

WWidjono GozaliExpensive for what you get, but I am told that Fukuoka hotels are expensive (even more than Tokyo) because of the limited hotels compared to the amount of visitors it gets. The twin rooms are ridiculous TINY- way too small for two people and our two luggages! The receptionist was helpful and apologetic, and we were able to upgrade to a bigger twin room but you still get very bare amenities.
