"The hotel is located in a somewhat secluded yet beautiful location: from the breakfast terrace, you can enjoy a sweeping view of the sea and the surrounding landscape. Our room (actually two rooms, plus a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen) overlooked a well-kept garden; from the terrace, you could see the sea in the distance, through the greenery. We were never lacking in kindness and helpfulness, and Manuela, the lady who served breakfast, offered us pleasant conversation and helpful advice every morning, while bringing us cakes, jams, candied fruit, and other delicacies made with local fruits. If you love nature and tranquility, this is an ideal place to stay."

"My wife and I had the most amazing visit to Hotel Signum. The island of Salina is magical, and the hotel is perfectly located in Malfa, looking out at the Mediterranean and the islands of Stromboli and Panarea, which you can see from their patio. The atmosphere is rustic but in an elegant way, and you feel you are transported into a special world. The staff are so warm and friendly, instantly making us feel welcome. They are the real treasure of the hotel. And our room was perfect, with a lovely view of the Mediterranean from our private patio in front, and a beautiful lemon tree by our door. The room was spacious and elegant while retaining a lovely rustic feel. Just perfect. The hotel is an amazing value, as it is quite affordable given the luxury and elegance of the hotel. We will definitely be back!"

"Hotel Mamma Santina was a good place because it was easy and comfortable. Although we found ants all over the room, dirty towel in the bathroom. The breakfast was good but a total mess. Swimming pool was amazing. Staff was kind but was very young and not so much experienced. In conclusion, it is a very good place to stay but we did not find the right ratio between price and quality."

"Giuliana was an amazing host, helping us with ferry crossings to Salina, taxis, hire cars and local advice. A Alera is a stunning property with views of the sea from the lovely large balconies. The whole place was immaculate, breakfast was delicious especially her homemade cakes and jams. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had everything you'd expect and more, much more like a hotel than B&B. If you go be sure to visit Pollara for sunset and Papero for the ricotta granitas."

"We were placed here by the company that organised our tour. The major surprise? It isn't really a hotel at all - it is a time share complex. So we had a totally unnececessary kitchen with huge fridge, hob etc. It has a nice pool and a private beach area - and the breakfast is good - but it's all a bit motel-like and dull. There’s a small grocery store just 5 minutes away, and the hotel is only a 10‑minute walk from the beach and the town center, where plenty of restaurants are located. 🏝️ Salina – an island to fall in love with Many guests stay only one or two nights, but we stayed for a full week and couldn’t imagine having spent less time here.
