"5/5 Stars – Incredible Customer Service by Samantha at Element Lenox Berkshires! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Element by Marriott Lenox Berkshires, and it is all thanks to Samantha at the front desk! We arrived well before the standard check-in time after a very long, exhausting journey. Our two young children were completely worn out and desperately needed to rest.Instead of making us wait, Samantha completely stepped up and demonstrated excellent customer service. She immediately expedited our room availability and even upgraded us to a beautiful room with a kitchenette! Having that extra space and the Element kitchenette setup made traveling with small kids infinitely easier.The room itself was awesome—clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. A massive thank you and a huge shout-out to Samantha for going above and beyond to turn our stressful travel day into a relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back to this property!"

"We visited The Berkshires during our anniversary trip to New England where we spent an evening at The Constance Inn. We’re partial to Victorian homes, so we knew we would love it here! As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed with such hospitality. We were provided with recommendations for unique shopping and dining options. We celebrated our anniversary at Frankie’s Italian restaurant and our meal and service was fantastic! Back at the Constance, our room was spacious, clean, and unique. The continental breakfast in the morning was a great touch…the Apple Cider was the best we’ve ever had! Such a lovely experience! "

"Hampton Terrace Inn is a nice place to stay. Stan is a lovely host and is located on site. Buffet breakfast is varied and can be enjoyed in the main dining room or side porch. The Hampton Terrace Inn is centrally located. One can walk to town for meals. No need to take your car and look for parking. Tanglewood and Shakespeare and Company are right nearby. We interacted with lovely guests at the Inn who were there for the culture as well."

"I enjoyed my stay at this newer hotel in the Berkshires. Good points that I remember: - nice decor; - very clean rooms; - good shower pressure, which is a nice change. But the following points were not that good so this is why I gave 4 stars and not five: - no safe in the room which is a major irritant. I would say that 99 % of hotels no matter which category have safes in Europe but for some reason this is not the case in the US. Perhaps it is a company directive but the Element in Atlanta has safes so for me this is a must to add; - there are only 1 or 2 choices (one day only it was 3) of hot food at breakfast so if you do not like them you are out of luck. But if you do the quality is better than at most hotels which include breakfast. So I would stay there again, it is just inconvenient as I need to bring a Kensington lock for my laptop and carry my passport everywhere."

"Cute Inn located near the town center of Lenox. This was a medical trip for us, so a nice quiet place to stay with some charm, and opportunities for enjoying the fall leaf colors was a nice change of pace for us. Beds were nice and comfy, staff were friendly. Breakfast is a self-serve assortment of breads and muffins, fresh fruit and yogurt Adding something like eggs or oatmeal would be great for people who want a non-dairy protein. Dinner nearby at Alta one night was fantastic - we sat in the porch seating area, warned with overhead heaters and seat heaters. Make online reservations at Alta (walk ins may or may not get a seat at the small bar area). Also enjoyed a great gluten-free pizza (didn't know it was even possible to find a great crust) at the pizza place downtown another night. We had a "chainsaw snoring" guy above us one night that was unreal - but we still enjoyed our stay. It's a really cute place with a parlor area to play chess, read, or even sit on the porch (in summer) and enjoy the scenery. "

"We had a great stay with Stan at the Hampton Terrace Inn. There was a hot buffet breakfast every day. He was able to accommodate vegan diet but there could me more choices in the future. The rooms and inn itself were clean, full of character and welcoming. Short walk to Lenox and close to Tanglewood and everything the Berkshires have to offer. Highly recommended."

Without asking he went out and bought me coolant, and I had to force him to let me pay for it. Then he came out in zero degree weather to help me! And he makes a mean breakfast, too."

"We booked this inn based on the reviews. They did not support the experience we had. We got in late, were given the Viola room on the main floor at the front-key left in an envelope in the open foyer with a note. The corner room with two big windows is very well lit outside - all night long and they don’t have blackout drapes. The pillows were hard and stiff and it was impossible to sleep. I can honestly say the bed is the worst I've ever slept on in a hotel/inn. After the second night I woke up having to take medicine to cope with the back pain. And the bathroom is freezing in winter. But we hoped breakfast would be great - and it was - the second morning. But the first morning we came in for the very limited time it is served (9am-9:45am). At about 9:05 a lady came in and told us the chef was running late but she would take our drink orders. At 9:15 she came in-without drinks - and announced “The chef isn’t showing.” Would have been nice to know since we had a 10am tour reservation. Clearly they weren’t just running late. Would have been nice to have been given the option to wait or get a refund for breakfast the first time when the chef obviously wasn’t even in the building. We’re told we’ll be mailed a check in two weeks to offset the inconvenience.. I guess they don’t process a credit back to your card? Not sure what happened here but they need to figure out a better way to approach a situation like this. On the positive side, the inn is in a wonderful location-very accessible to little shops and restaurants and close to places we wanted to visit. They do supply bottled water which was helpful. And I do have to say the towel warming rack in the bathroom was very nice and they did a good job with daily maid service. But my back still hurts-thus the 2 stars."

"We stayed here some years back. Everything was great - esp the beautiful breakfast we had in our room. This time it was disappointing - the room we stayed in had a bathroom that wasn't designed for average sized people. But most disappointing was the breakfast - an average cinammon croissant and a delicious quiche that was so small we left hungry. Definitely not like it used to be- won't be returning..."
