Borrman Jinhuangguan Hotel (Liuzhou Five Star Pedestrian Street) Reviews

This hotel has the best service I’ve seen at a hotel so far. Everything was on point. The moment we got out of the taxi, the bellhop carried our bags inside. While checking in, we were given some water and a map with a quick run down of tourist attractions in Liuzhouz. We were allowed to check in early and even got a room upgrade. Laundry facilities were convenient and the staff helped us do our laundry. Once done, they even folded the laundry for us. Our laundry took extra long, and the staff were willing to do our laundry for us, fold it, and then deliver it to our stored luggage. The service was impeccable, and I’m very surprised that a random hotel in Liuzhou, China rivals the Ritz & Mandarin Oriental in service. However, there were a few items of improvement. The “gym” is in an abandoned floor basically which is very odd and weird. I only know this as I had to transit via the floors through the stairs to get to the laundry (18F) from our room (16F) as the hotel only has 2 elevators which are slow and constantly full of people. Our room upgrade wasn’t that much of an upgrade and arguably it was a downgrade. Granted, it allowed us to check in early, but still. The room we were upgraded to was the “Smart Room” but that’s about 100 sqm smaller than the room we booked and is only an upgrade of $2. In my opinion, the bigger room should the better one. The couch was as comfortable as sitting on a piece of granite. It wasn’t very comfortable. I would stay here again for the service and hospitality alone. 9/10.

Upon arrival, the short-haired female hotel manager kindly offered me a complimentary room upgrade. Both the manager and the hotel staff were consistently courteous and greeted guests warmly whenever they entered the hotel. The room was impeccably clean and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located with easy access to nearby tourist attractions. Thank you for a truly pleasant stay.

The lobby manager Ms Chen was quite friendly and helpful on serivece. The airconditioning can be improved but overall a safe and comfortable stay.

The stay was satisfactory. The hotel had snail noodles for breakfast, which was amazing. There were many varieties and the taste was good. The reception was warm and welcoming, especially Miss Xiaofeng, who was very nice. I would stay here again if I had the chance.

The hotel is in a great location. When the service manager, Xiao Chen, heard that we brought two children, he upgraded our room and provided children's shoes and toiletries. I liked the room very much. It was clean and hygienic. I will choose this hotel again when I come to Liuzhou next time.

The room is very clean and spacious. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub. Chen at the front desk provided good service with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude. The hotel is in a good location with West Street behind it and many coffee shops and restaurants downstairs.

The room is very clean. This is the first hotel in Guangxi that has children's bed rails during my week-long stay. There are children's slippers and toothbrushes. It is very friendly to families with children, especially Xiaofeng, who is very enthusiastic and provides good service. It is also close to the attractions. (I forgot to take a photo of the hotel, so I'll just post a random photo.

In fact, it was a very sudden business trip, and it was also my first time to Liuzhou. Overall, I still like this city, and living must be a very important part. First of all, before I arrived in Liuzhou, the hotel would call me carefully. After knowing that I had certain requirements for the floor, I upgraded the smart room type and arranged it upstairs, which was only one floor away from the laundry room. This greatly facilitates business travelers, who can walk up the stairs to complete the laundry without waiting for the elevator. The room is clean and tidy as a whole, and the sound insulation effect is not bad. Xiaodu voice control is very in place, which is convenient for me who is tired all day and goes back to the hotel to sleep and doesn’t want to get up and turn off the lights! Finally, I would like to thank the front desk "Xiaofeng" by name, who followed the service throughout the whole process and carefully prepared water for me to drink on the road before leaving the hotel. And as a hotel in the center of Liuzhou, it is very cost-effective.
