Eagle Creek Ranch is my special place. I fell in love with it on my first visit and I just knew it was for me.The property is 1/2 block from the main street in Los Alamos, CA. It's very private even though it's only right over the creek from Bell Street. The property is fenced and there is plenty of room to walk, explore, play crocket/Bocce Ball/Cornhole, relax, and enjoy a fire in the fire pit or lounge in the jacuzzi.I decided, after spending months pouring my heart into the property, the ranch house and the Saloon, that I wanted to share it with others. It’s a work in progress but already a comfortable place to call home. The wifi is good, there is parking for many, you can invite guests for dinner under the oak grove and have a drink in the Saloon and you might even see the resident bobcat or the resident fox family wandering through the yard. You're a 10 second walk from downtown Bell Street across the bridge. The Los Alamos area was originally a Chumash Indian Village and then became a stagecoach town in the late 1800's. It's a short drive to the rest of Santa Ynez Valley and everything it has to offer. It still boasts the last remaining railroad station that serviced the narrow gauge line during the early 1900’s (across the street from my ranch). One of my favorite things to do is sit outside at the fire pit and stargaze. Because the property is off of Bell Street, you can usually see a starry sky in the evenings.Whether you want to bike, hike, shop, or explore the many wine tasting and restaurant options available, you’ll always have something to do. Los Alamos, itself, is home to some of the best dining options in the entire Valley and the people are friendly and welcoming. It’s a small town (I have to get my mail at the post office every day), but not too far from Santa Barbara and Los Angeles (to the south) and San Luis Obispo and San Francisco (to the north). It is literally taking a step back in time. Note...Los Alamos is rural! As such, there are occasional (2 to 3 times / year or so) unexpected power outages. The wifi is great at my property but it has gone out 1 or 2 times over the last few years on me, so if you absolutely are relying on wi-fi and would be very disappointed if you happen to staying during one of those 1-2 times a year when it went out, you might want to reconsider staying in Los Alamos!About pets:Pets allowed: dogs (limit 2 total).Clean up (fur, etc) to avoid fees ($100 min.).About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 18.About events:No events allowed.Open to small "gatherings" and bringing friends..

The Wyatt Earp is the most western of all the Mercantile apartments, and it's set at one end of the veranda - a nice spot to kick back and enjoy some wine. Our Wyatt Earp apartment is located in the center of town in the Los Alamos Mercantile Building. Recently deemed by Conde Nast Traveler as California's next "great food and wine destination" Los Alamos offers a whole lotta bang for a small Western town including amazing restaurants, wineries, and antique shopping.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.Unit is not equipped for small children.About checkIn:Check in after 3:30 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 18.About events:No events allowed.
"The room is clean, comfortable and spacious, the sheets have no smell, the air conditioning temperature is OK, the service attitude is good, the occupancy rate is 100% 💯"
"SAN Marcos Motel was a great place to spend our night. The room was a good size even with the king sized bed. The room had a small refrigerator with a separate freezer. There was an area to hang clothes and to stow the luggage. There was also a separate single chair for relaxing and a desk wit a chair which was great place to use the laptop. The bathroom had a toilet, a single sink and an enclosed shower. The hotel is in a quiet area away from the loud highway and bars. Very peaceful. Will look at this place to rent on our next trip"
